hey guys, it's me emerson the author here
as an author and as someone who has an audience and platform, even though it is quite small, i feel like i need to speak out about what's going on in the world at the moment
in case you are blind, deaf or just plain out right dumb you have to of heard of BLACK LIVES MATTER or #BLM. to me this movement has been a long time coming. for any of you wondering, no i'm not black, i am completely white but i do have black friends and i follow a lot of black artists
to anyone who is black, darker skinned or comes from black heritage that is in my audience. i stand with you. i hear you. i see you. i love you. i care about you
please guys, if you can donate, do it. if you can't don't worry. there are videos on youtube you can watch and play in the background that donate money, all you have to do is let the adds play
this was a long time coming. even as a white person i am still very angry at the way our black community all over the world are treated. enough is enough and we need change. this will forever go down in the history books. change is key, 'white privilege' should not exist. black people deserve to live and have there voices heard
yes people make mistakes. yes white peoples make mistakes. yes black people make mistakes. but we are all human and we are all the same
every single fucking one of us is the same. the colour of your skin should not determine the way that you get treated by people around you
many harmless black peoples have been killed for no reason
take george floyd for example, he said he couldn't breathe and the police officer didn't let go of his neck
emerald black, she was pregnant and still in her hospital gown when her and her husband/boyfriend got pulled over by the police. she told the police she had a high risk of a miscarriage. the police didn't care and threw her out of the car after she said she wouldn't get out due to her baby. the police officers piled on top of her and laughed at her and stomped on her stomach leaving a shoe print and a aresting her. she miscarried after that. these police officers were and i think are still identified and there actions have no been dealt with
this is not good enough. when will enough be enough? change is needed for these people to stay safe and not constantly live in fear of being killed by the very people who are meant to protect them
as an australian watching on from my house and seeing how trump and america are dealing with this, i am very disappointed in trump. he addresses the mayors of each state, the police and his following on twitter but not the fucking people. leave it to trump to hide away in his fucking bunker
