Demi's POV:

I walked into our greenroom for The X-Factor, and noticed Simon sitting in my chair.

Great, as if I wasn't already having a bad day...

"Simon, can you get out of my chair, you have your own?" I demanded, trying hard not to sound too annoyed, knowing he might notice the slightest difference in my personality or tone.

"I would darling, but your chair is so comfortable, and smells like vanilla" Simon answered, smiling at me cheekily.

I groaned internally, knowing I was about to snap. I just wanted some space, was it too much to ask for?

"Simon, I'm not messing around. If you didn't smoke cigarettes so much, then your chair could smell nice too. Now please, move. I'm not asking again." I replied, glaring at him.

Simon lifted his hands up in surrender with his eyes slightly widened.

"Okay, okay. Sorry, I didn't realize you were in a mood today, brat." He told me with a slight smile, so I knew he wasn't really angry with me.

I gave him a small smile in return when one of the interns, Amanda came up to me with a package.

"Demi, this came for you" Amanda told me as she placed the package on the table next to me.

I glared at it when Max came out of nowhere, grabbing the box with a nod in my direction. I smiled thanks in return to him.

"What's that more clothing from Top Shop?" Simon jokingly asked, as he knew my obsession with the clothing store.

"Yeah, shopping is a girls best friend" I lied back.

Simon chuckled, "Okay, I'll see you out there."

Simon's POV:

I walked to the judge's table hearing the cheers from the audience members and saw Kelly and Paulina there already.

"Hello girls, how are you today?" I asked.

"Good, where's Demi?" Kelly asked, smiling.

"Yeah, you two usually are combined at the hip" Paulina replied with a chuckle.

"Well, she seems a bit off today, so I decided to give her some space." I explained truthfully.

Now, my fellow judges looked concerned.

"Ay Dios Mio, is she okay?" Paulina asked.

"Yeah Simon, what do you mean she's off?" Kelly questioned me.

"I don't know, she just has seemed really jumpy lately and more irritable than usual. Plus, whenever someone tries to approach her, the interns on set for example; her bodyguard appears out of nowhere constantly. At first, I thought she was being a bit of a diva, but now I'm getting concerned" I explained.

All of a sudden, we hear a blood-curdling scream from backstage, and see the stadium's security respond to a call from their communications device.

"Contacting police to the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. Please all units report to the judge's greenroom."

My eyes widened with realization, Demi was in the greenroom.
