Chapter 10: Deep Sleep~

Jimin's POV

I am the best friend. I stayed with her though I felt  how absurd my one-sided love with her was. I was patient that someday, she'll realize how much I've yearn for her as a lover. It was my obligation to support her whenever she's down. But why? Why do I feel like I've suffered a lot? Why do I feel self-neglect? I deserve her right? It should be me and I should fight for this.

Now, that my tears seemed to flood like hell, could she now realize that I love her more than just a friend?

I looked at her and she was so helpless. I didn't expect her to come up to this point. I thought she was strong enough; strong enough to carry all the pain she has inside. She's so stupid. Yes, literally she is. How could she love a stupid jerk like him? And how could she re-love someone who's now near his terminal stage? And how could she ignore someone like me? Someone who cares for her. Who only looks at her? 

Look at you now Yoon Mi. You're so sick. You're not religious enough to take your medications. Plus, you're exposing yourself to too much stress. You're so dumb.

But I still love you despite of your idiocy. Because it is me who understands you more than anyone else can ever do. 

Just why can't you love me back?

Jimin was caterwauling in sorrow. He cried heedlessly. Yoon Mi can hear him, so clear. She also cried, but she can't move nor talk well. She tried to reach his face. But as much as she wants, her hands fall down helplessly, obeying gravity. Jimin held her hand tight. He was sobbing as he begged, "Yoon Mi, Please live for me. I don't care if i need to take care of you forever. Please, I just need you alive." his voice was raspy, but he continued "I love you.."

Yoon Mi's tears started to fall fast.

She also felt sad for Jimin.

"Yoon Mi.." Jimin cried and hugged her so tight.

Jungkook and the rest could hear Jimin's whining. Jungkook waas red, his eyes were puffy but still he continues crying. He was crying because it also pains him seeing Jimin cry. He knows Jimin is a sincere friend to Yoon Mi. He fully understands how Jimin loves Yoon Mi, so much.

V gloomed. he was even paler that moment he saw Yoon Mi's state. Min Young noticed him weak. "V, should I take you to your room now? You look tired?"

V nodded.

"Jungkook, we'll be going now. Beep me up about Yoon Mi's state, okay?" Min Young asked. Jungkook nodded as he was sobbing.

V gave Yoon Mi one last look and left.

He didn't know it was the last time he was seeing Yoon Mi.

V's breathing was so impaired. He was gasping for it as if the wind surrounding him is limited. Min Young in the other hand would simply shut her eyes for her not to see him in pain. She is not aware of what to do. She can't do anything but hope for a  miracle to happen.

"Min Young, why are you closing your eyes?" V uttered. Min Young opened her eyes and saw V as he tried to fake a smile.

Behind that beautiful smile is an ugly pain. She also felt like dying everytime she sees v suffering.

"I'm sorry V. Is there something I can do for you? Do you want water? Do you want food? What?"

V smiled. He brushed her bangs off her eyes and wiped the tears that were starting to fall down her cheeks. " Min Young, I don't anything. I just need you."

"V, please hold on okay?" she held his hands tight. "I promise to love you till forever."  And her soft whining turn out to be so loud that she cares no less even if she acts like a heedless baby.

"Okay baby, But I'm tired. Can I rest for a while?"

"Tired?..."

"Can I sleep now?" 

Min Young's tears were flowing now.

She couldn't do anything.

"Okay then. I love you so much.. V"

And with that, V slowly closed his eyes and drifted to a deep sleep.
