CHAPTER TWO

Eros

"Mom, I'm home" I yelled when I step inside our house. I take off my shoes and put my coat on a stand that near in the door.

"Anak, bakit naman nag-cutting ka na naman?" she hug me so tight and kiss my forehead and ask me that question. I just shook my head and smile bitterly. "May nangbu-bully ba sa'yo sa eskwela at palagi kang ganyan?" she ask again.

"Mom, nakatulog po ako sa field kanina kaya ako cutting" medyo naiirita kong paliwanag.

"Pero anak, palagi na lang tumatawag sa'kin ang principal n'yo. Palagi ka--" I tap her shoulder and nod.

"Don't you worry, mom. Tomorrow I'm going to transfer somewhere new." nagulat pa siya ng sabihin ko 'yan. "Don't worry, kasama ko naman sila Art e." I said when I read her mind.
I'm not a mind reader. I just think that she's thinking something that I was thinking too. That's it.

"Are you sure?" she said. I smiled and nod.

"Btw, where's dad? Aren't he home yet?" umiling siya sa tanong ko.

"Nasa music class pa, tinuturuan ang bagong trainees" she said.

My dad is a musician. He can tame the lion by just using his lyre.

"'Lika na, kumain na tayo." akit niya at nagsandok ng nakahain na pagkain.

After eating our dinner, I go to my room and prepare to my sleep.
When I off the lights, someone took a flashlight and spot my face. Geez.
"Mom, what are you doing here? I'm sleepy." I said although I didn't see anything, just the light of a flashlight.

"Hahaha, you're so cute" I freeze when I heard those chuckles and voices. It's Percy. Yes! He's here again.

"Percy?" I ask. Itinutok naman niya ang flashlight sa mukha niya at ngumiti.

"How did you get in here?" I said full of amazement.

He walk towards me and sit in my bed beside me.
"You know, I'm a god, right?" tumango ako. "Then I have a powers." eh? Really? "You. Did you already get your powers?" he ask.

Powers? I don't have that one. How could I have powers if we're here in the mortal world?
"I don't have one" I said.

"Then you don't have parents in Atlanta. You're a mortal." I pouted when he say that.

"But my mom said that my biological parents we're there" I sadly said.

He look at me unconciously.
"Then come with me if you wanna really know the answers" he said. I shook my head and smile.

"No. I can find Atlanta by my own." I go to the switch of the light and press it.

When the lights flashes all over my room, I look back to him but there's nothing Percy I found.
"Percy?" I called. Maybe he's just hiding under my bed?
I look under my bed but still I can't see him.
"Where the hell did he go?" I sit in my bed and think wisely. If he have a power, he can do whatever he want.
And maybe...I'm a god too. So I have powers too? Siguro 'di pa lang lumalabas. I'll just wait for my 18th birthday. Ganon naman talaga 'pag nakakabasa ako ng fantasy e.

"I should ask mom 'bout this. Tomorrow."
Tutulog na sana ako ng biglang may nabasag sa may side table ko. Kaagad akong napatayo at nakiramdam. Patay na ang ilaw at wala akong makita dahil wala naman akong lampshade. May nararamdaman akong naglalakad palapit sa'kin...

When I felt someone's near me, gumalaw na ako at tumayo para sana pumunta sa switch ng ilaw pero may biglang humila sa'kin at marahas akong isinandal sa pader. "Who was it?" I can feel my voice shaking 'cause of fear. Fear that I might died because...you know, sometimes the killer attacks it's prey while it's alone.

"Heracle, It's been a years." he said. Who the fck is this? I know this isn't Percy because of his voice. Mas malagong at mas masarap pakinggan.

"Who are you? How did you know my name?" I calmly ask. I don't know why I feel I'm safe when he appeared in front of me. I can feel that he can't hurt me. Why do I have this feeling that I already know him? That we already met before. That--.

"Don't you recognize me? My voice that you all wanted to hear every second, every minute, every hour. Did they erase your memory?" he stated. What? What the heck is he wanted to say? That I know him? What did he just say? They erased my memories?

Gosh! I really can't think who the hell he is. Sino nga ba siya?

"W-who are you? I really can't remember who you are. Get the hell outta here please." I said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and moved his face closer to my ear. I can't breathe. He's suffocating me. I pushed him away from me forcefully.

"Get out!" I said. He just giggled and he leaned his hands on both walls so that I couldn't escape.

"Hera...huwag mo na akong pahirapan pa, please. It's been a years since they took you away from me, why don't you just come with me huh?" he faintly pleaded.

I shook my head repeatedly. I didn't know him. I don't remember him. And I didn't know what he was saying.
"Who are you really huh? Do you know my parents? Do you know where Atlanta is? Do you know Persius?" his heavy breathing stopped. He suddenly grabbed me in my the shoulders. He pressed me against the wall. "What the--" i cursed.

"How did you know Percy? Who told you that? You know Percy but not me? Who the hell he is to you huh?" he greeted his teeth and I saw his eyes for the first time. It's yellow. I can see that he's mad but for what? I can't understand him. Is this a dream again? No! I know it's real. I could feel his claw coming down over my shoulder.
"Talk to me, Hera. Bakit mo siya kilala pero ako--"

"Stop it, please! I don't know you. Get out of my room please." I pleaded. Bagsak ang balikat na binitawan niya ako. Pero hindi pa rin siya umaalis.
"Please? Kung sino ka man." pinakinggan niya ako at narinig ko na ang paglalakad palayo ng isang bulto. Pero natigilan ako ng bumukas ang ilaw at tumambad sa'kin ang isang matipuno at matangkad na lalaki. He look into my eyes. His yellowis brown eyes made my knees tremble a bit. Oh no! I know him. Eros. God of Lust, and my husband.
