It was time for your next shift at that wretched Freddy Fazbear's too soon. You groaned as you parked your car in the staff only parking space, taking the key out of the ignition. Before you exited, you took a look at yourself in the rear view mirror, brushing some loose strands out of the way of your face. Sure, you weren't particularly excited to see Freddy and friends, but you were to see Scott.

You nodded to yourself in the mirror; you got this. You stuffed your keys into your pocket unceremoniously (thank god the uniform had pockets, unlike many other "fashionable" choices). You slammed the car door shut, pumped up and ready to face those animatronics from hell, and promptly made your way to the restaurant's entrance. It was time to show those animatronics who's boss; you shouted at yourself in the mirror prior to the evening, gathering up your courage in a drill-sergeant-esque manner. Hell yes, you were prepared. And Scott was going to be so impressed with your quick learning of the ways of the restaurant.

You shuddered as you passed the animatronics who stood lifelessly on their stage. Why did they suddenly want to murder you as soon as midnight hit? Who knew? You shrugged and briskly made your way to the office, not wanting to be caught right in front of the animatronics when 12 hit.

You peeked your head in through the left door and immediately smiled as you saw Scott already at the desk. You entered, "You're here early."

Scott jumped, not noticing your presence at first, "Oh! Hi! Uh, I was assigned the shift before this one last minute, but don't worry, I'm still staying with you for this shift."

"Are you sure? You seem pretty out of it," You crossed your arms, knowing that lethargy and this job do not mix well together.

"Oh, don't worry about it, (Y/N). I'll be fine, besides, we got each other to look out for," Scott grinned at you, making your heart melt.

"Alright, well," You glanced at the clock in the room, "Our shift officially just started. How about I take the doors again? I don't want you falling asleep at one of the doors."

Scott furrowed his eyebrows and nodded, "Ok, fine," he began in a lighter tone, "So, there actually is a few more, uh, things I need to talk to you about."

You nodded, indicating for him to continue. He began again as you looked down the hallways, "Right, so uh, Freddy and his friends kinda get more active as the week progresses. I have no idea why," He studied the cameras, "But, uh, Freddy gets more active without light, so yeaaa, another reason not to run out of power haha."

You turned to him, your face twisted in discomfort, "You mean they're gonna be more active than they already are?"

"Uh, yea, unfortunately," Scott scratched the back of his neck and let out a nervous chuckle, "Anyway, I should also emphasize to you the importance of the door lights. The cameras over here have blind spots that just happen to be right outside the door, so make sure to try those lights around a good time. I'll tell you when."

"This place is a friggin' death trap, I swear," You ran your hand through your hair in disbelief, "It's like they want to kill off their nightgaurds."

Scott laughed and flipped through the cameras, "It definitely feels like that sometimes."

The first hour of the night passed without any incident. However, when around 1:00 hit, things got intense.

Scott sat up straighter in the office's chair, more alert, "Uh, (Y/N), don't freak out, but both Bonnie and Chica are on their way."

"Both?!" You started freaking out, "Oh my sweet summer child, one was already enough!!"
