Long Nights (Phone Guy x Reader)

Weeks Later...

You flung open the door to the pizzeria, a stride in your step as you pass by the stage. Today you have something exciting to tell Scott! You've been waiting all weekend to tell him, and you figured you would on Monday. And now, that Monday has come. You could barely contain your excitement as you enter the security office. 

"Yooo, Scotty!" You gave him a peck on the cheek as you entered the office.

Scott beamed up at you from his seat, "Hello, hello, honey!"

"So, I have some news I wanna tell you!"

"Oh, really? Me, too!"

You smiled, "Aight, you go first, then."

"No, you go first," Scott took his hand in your's.

"No, I insist-"

Before you could go back and forth with another round of that, the clock chimed, indicating the start of the shift. You groaned and let go of Scott's hand, walking back to the left door from which you came.

"I need to start coming earlier," you sighed to yourself. You squinted your eyes, peering out the door. You forgot to put glow sticks on the animatronics again. You and Scott tried to make it a daily thing, but you both keep forgetting to put the damned things on them. You pushed aside these thoughts; it's Monday, so you're sure it won't be too crazy tonight. 

You turned back to Scott, leaning on the doorframe, "Sooo, what's the news, babe?"

"I'll tell you after you tell your's," Scott looked up at you from the cameras, insistently. 

"Ok, ok!" You laughed, but then took on a more serious tone, "Alright, so, you know how that sister location place has been hiring day shift, right?"

"Yes?" Scott perked up.

"Well, I've been hired!" You clap your hands together, "And I start on Wednesday!"

Scott got up from the seat and wrapped his arms around you tightly, enveloping you into a nice, warm hug. He exclaimed, "That's awesome! I knew they would hire you!"

"Ahh, thanks! I'm so excited to start," You hugged him back. You began again, "So what was your news, Scott?"

"Y'know, it's funny that you mention that you got hired for that job... Because I just got hired, too!"

"What? No cap!" You hugged him even tighter and gave him a short kiss, "I'm so proud of you, babe!"

Scott buried his head on your neck, "I start on Thursday, too, so a day after you start."

"Oh my god, It'll be soo nice to work together without having to worry about the animatronics killing us!"
