I was having my beauty sleep until someone comes inside and "Nina!Nina! Wake up!" Raiko screaming. "What you want I was sleeping!" I scream to Raiko who had a big smile in her face. I can't kill Raiko cause she my best friend sense little girls I don't remember how she look when she was little and I love her even if she is annoying sometimes. "Nina don't you know the avatar has returned and he is coming to choose his guardian today so wake up and get ready " she told me giving me my guardian suit and her going to the restroom to change. I just put on my suit and put my hair into a pony tail I don't like it having it down well I had to look at that mirror that I hated even if it was broken I just hated it of what it showed me last time it showed me this women burning and she was screaming with pain and a men beside her I didn't recognize them th as when I broke the mirror and kinda hurted my hands. I look at the broken pieces and I saw my reflection one part I had a black wing and the other a white wing she was gonna do something until Raiko comes out the restroom thanks she got out. "Nina you ready" Raiko said. "Yeah but why he has to choose someone? " I asked Raiko. "Because know the person that gets chosen will be free from this place" Raiko said like giving a shit of this place. "But we were born here our masters are like our parents" I told Raiko who was giving me a face"what". "What there are rumors that they takes us from our family cause we are powerful and than erase our minds" Raiko said with a low voice. "Why are you saying that if they would do that there has to be a reason why" I told Raiko who just gave me an upset face. "Okay later when we get big you will see" Raiko said looking at the sky. "Who even told you that anyway tell me" I told Raiko who just put a smile in her face. "I heard them talking last night about that and that a new guardian was coming tomorrow and they said of erasing her/his mind okay" Raiko said it kinda mad. "That can-" I got cut off when I hear the drums Raiko gets my hand and pulls me to the circle the guardians have made we get in our spot and down came a big fluffy thing that I have never seen well only heard in the stories Wise Chang tells us. Up the thing three teenage kids come down two of them look like water tribe people and the other one had some arrow tattoes. "Hello my name is Aang this is Katara the one beside her is Appa and her brother Sokka" the arrow tattoo boy said and his name is Aang. "Hello Avatar you came to-" Wise Chang got cut off by Aang first time even thoe he hates that. "Yeah I'm coming to choose my guardian " Aang said looking at us but than "Avatar you are not gonna choose the masters have already chosen your guardian " Shyu said coming out of his tent all of us kneel down. "Ooh I thought we can choose" Aang said kneeling down . "Nope, and stand up please,the masters have chosen who the guardian's of Aang is..."he said coming to me and Raiko "Raiko and Nina stand up the masters chose one of you,Raiko... the masters said you are really strong but the avatar doesn't need strength he needs someone smart and powerful to help with the task of destroying the Fire Lord and has talk to the spirits so Nina congratulations you are the chosen one"as Shyu said that the others threw fire up in the sky. I just smile and look up to Raiko who had a big smile in her face I smile back. I go up to the avatar and his friends "hello welcome to the avatar team" the socks guy said stretching out his hand. "Thanks" I smiled back. "Nina come with me I need to talk to you" Shyu said while walking to his tent. We enter his tent "yes master Shyu " I said to master Shyu. "Please sit I need to talk to you about what's gonna happen in this trip" it's was silent for a moment than "Nina we haven't told anyone about this but we take y'all away from your family to-" Shyu said getting cut off by me. "What so Raiko was right you erase our minds and take us away from our family!" I scream to him I couldn't help it but get out of the tent with anger. "Nina! Listen to me please!" He grabbed my wrist "please Nina " he told me. "Fine it better be a good reason" I told Shyu. "It is, but come inside" Shyu said walking to his tent I could see everybody was looking at us. "Nina we take y'all because we protect y'all from the power y'all hold in you th as why you will know in the trip the spirits are gonna talk to you and showed things of your past" Shyu said giving a face of worried. "Why do you have that face is my past bad!" I screamed with anger. "Yes they will show you things you don't wanna see" Shyu said giving a sad face. "Lik-ke Wha.a.at" I sturetd. "They are going to show you what happen to your parents? That scar you have in your neck and behind your back? And... of someone important from your life?" Shyu said looking at me I kinda wanted to cry but I hold it in. "Okay well I have to go" I said walking out of the tent. The only thing that was in my head was of what happen to my parents and of that special person I didn't care about the others. I was gonna get in the Appa thing when "Nina wait!" Raiko said handing me the red spirit mask. "Here so you could get some guys out there and even find the blue spirit" she said giving me a winked. "Thanks Raiko I'm gonna miss you" I told Raiko giving her i wanted to cry but no. "Nina promise me you would come back with victory in your hands" she whispered in my ear. "I promise" I whisper back I don't even know if I can hold that promise the Fire Lord is really powerful. I got on Appa and waved bye to all of them I was on the sky still waving.

Zuko P.O.V

"Zuko why do you went to get the avatar" uncle said. "Why cause I wanna get the throne and go back and th as the only way!" I screamed to uncle. "Ooh okay is that all you looking for" uncle said giving me a face. "Yes th as all" I said. I was lying I'm looking for Nina it's been 3 years I haven't seen her and I missed her so much the last time I saw her was...

Flashback*****

"Zuko give me Timmy back!" Nina screaming. "No until you show me that trick that you use vs those soldiers" I told Nina. "Don't remind about that remember what happen that day" Nina said sitting down and putting her hands in her face. "I'm sorry Nina I remember" I told her coming down the furniture and hug her. "Its okay" Nina said giving that smile I so like. Than my dad enters the room really fast and grabs Nina. "Dad what's wrong!" I scream and chasing my dad. "Nothing Zuko go with your mother know!" Dad screamed back to me than this guy's painted in there face. "Ozai give us that girl" one of them said. "Dad don't let them take her" I told dad. "No I will never give her to you she is really strong and she will be the best warrior I will have!" Dad scream to them. "Ozai give her or we will destroy this place" the oldest guy said. "Y'all can't the spirits are gonna get mad" Dad said. "They won't if it's taking a guardian away" he said. "Fine here take her take my son too if th as what you want!" Dad screamed to them. "Nope just the girl" he said. My dad gave them Nina. "Zukooooooo!" I heard Nina then they disappeared. "Zuko promise me you will get revenge and bring Nina back just like your mother" Dad told me." Yes I promise dad I promise" I said I wanted to cry but I didn't wanted my dad to see I'm weak.
