I scream when I see a man walking past the window, when I screamed he ran away. I ran down the stairs to the basement where my mom is, she looks at my expression and instantly hugs me.
"What happened baby?" She asks me.
"I-I saw a man outside of my window, but he ran away when I screamed. I don't know why he was there but he was and I was scared, I'm still a little shaken up but nothing I cant handle," I say as she grabs my shoulders and looks into my eyes, she smiles softly. I start to relax when I hear a crash, my body tenses up as my mom and I grab the bats sitting next to the couch. We slowly walk up the stairs, checking to see if there was anything missing. When we get to the top of the stairs we see a rock with a message written on it, it says: i will find you and one day you will be mine - unknown.
My heart started to beat faster as I look to the window and see my crush run off. Oh no, he's my stalker? Fuck what am I going to do?
"Rose! Rose snap outta it!" My mom screams at me because I'm deep in thought.
"Sorry mom," I say as I hold my head because it hurts.
"Its alright Rose, just calm down," she pauses, "don't get overwhelmed with something like this."
