"are you going to sit down?" i asked jaemin.

"i was actually going to see if you wanted to go meet the other members, but that could wait," he replied, taking the seat next to me.

ara and i began conversing, while jaemin was also conversing with the other members at our table.

there would be someone who would go on stage, talk, and introduce the performers who haven't failed to bring enthusiasm to the night.

"how's watching artists perform live for the first time going?" jaemin turned and asked.

"bold of you to assume that these are the first live performances i've seen," i replied.

"but was i wrong?"

i sighed and shook my head, making jaemin laugh.

"look at us. i'm already finding things out about you."

"now it's my turn to find things out about you," i said, turning my entire body to face jaemin.

"well .. what do you want to know princess?" he asked, doing the same.

"well i-"

"boys, it's time to go prepare for your performance," a gala staff member appeared, cutting me off.

jaemin stood up and put a hand on my shoulder, "i'll tell you anything you want to know when i come back. i promise."

i nodded and watched jaemin take off his outer coat (the jacket part of his suit) and hand it to me.

"hold it for me please?"

i took it and looked up to him, "can't you put it in your dressing room?"

he smiled and shook his head, "you'll see later."
