Five years later
(Jungkook is 30 and Meera is 28)

MEERA'S POV

"Yo Meera. Sunmi is calling you."

My colleague Chungha told me the moment I sat at my desk. It was still early and she already called for me.

I organised my things before going inside her room with a notepad.

"Good morning mam. Did you call for me?"

She looked up from her laptop screen and smiled at me. "Sit first. It might be a long talk," she began clearing up the table a little which was a little messy. She continued to take out another file and kept it before me.

"You know Jeon Jungkook right?"

My brain stopped functioning at the name. I parted my lips to say something but nothing came out of my mouth. I gulped noticeably.

"The CEO's son Jeon Jungkook. You used to know him right?"

I looked away and nodded, "yes mam."

"Good then. I have some work for you and make sure no one knows about it. Yet." She raised her eyes expecting me to understand her point and I did. It must be something important if she asked me to do it and not my immediate senior, Mr Dongwoo.

"What am I supposed to do? I asked her with curiosity.

"He will be taking his position as a CEO in a week or two. All the procedures are completed. I want you to make his personal file and service record. You'll be the one to maintain it."

Jungkook will be the CEO? Time did fly fast. He was still a little kid with bunny teeth and a bowl cut. I'm sure he has changed a lot.

I can't wait to see him.

"And the file and record will be kept in my office. You can keep it in your cubicle for the time being but after it is fully completed, keep it with records of other higher ups."

"Okay mam."

I went back to my desk and started completing the pending work first. It's honestly a trouble to start a new personal file and service record.

After taking a deep breath I began my work. First I marked all the earned leaves in a few service records and then went on numbering two personal files. It's really tiresome but I'm not gonna lie, I did develop an expertise in this particular work.

This is done online too but hand written documents are there for safety in case the computer data gets lost or is manipulated. These records are really important.
