The next few days were pure bliss.
Well, besides Akela.
But other than the cold hearted man, Yoongi and Saeyoon had drawn closer and closer every minute they saw each other. Learning more and more about the other, sneaking out at night to go star gazing or late-night driving so much that Saeyoon would sleep during the days more. They were the perfect movie couple. Oh...and all the kisses. Saeyoon was a magnet and Yoongi couldn't stay away. Her lips so sweet, the way her hands would grip onto him, egging him to kiss harder, his hands on her skin, and he'd kiss her neck but leave it unmarked, for her skin was canvas from heaven and he was to never mark it, cherishing it like nothing else. And the way she changed him...made him feel so much more than what he was. He even bought new t-shirts and jeans, and stopped wearing the jean jacket and wore a leather one instead (despite the extreme heat of the summer approaching). He kept his hair much softer since Saeyoon praised the way his hair would flop around, and he wanted to make sure it always stayed that way. He even attempted to try tanning (which ultimately lead to him getting a nasty sun burn) so he could look better presentable to his lady love.
But he knew eventually her parents, despite how oblivious they were to her separate life, would catch on to something wrong. So, he decided to meet them.
Sitting down in the living room, he excused any drinks being served to him, awaiting for Saeyoon to be brought downstairs by her mother. He couldn't help but admire the high ceilings and very much expensive jewelry and antiques that covered the room. And the soft couch he sat upon was so warm he wouldn't mind laying down and falling asleep.
"Here." A soft woman voice cut into his thoughts, he looked over, seeing Saeyoon's flabbergasted face that he sat in her living room. He smirked, waving at her. Saeyoon walked across the room to sit down on another couch. "Well, I'll let you two catch up, I'll be back, Yoongi, are you sure you don't want anything to drink? It's quite hot outside, and I wouldn't like for you to get dehydrated." She offered, he shook his head. "No ma'am, thank you very much." He smiled at her, she nodded and walked out of the room.
Turning to Saeyoon, he nearly choked on his salvia at her face.
"What are you doing here? This is such a bad idea!" She whisper-yelled at him. "I have to meet your parents eventually." He smiled, his face turning red from laughing. "Yeah, no, not a good idea whatsoever, what are you thinking? You don't have money to show off to her!" Saeyoon's face began to turn red from anger. "A little lie never hurt nobody." He shrugged, "you cant lie to a rich woman! Yoon...you're actually crazy!" She calmed down as her mother walked back into the room. "So, Yoongi, we've met before, I'd like for you to meet Saeyoon's dad." She smiled, a man walked in, his hair slicked back, his eyes scanning Yoongi up and down. Practically nothing scared Yoongi, but this man, terrified him.
"Hello."
"Hello...Mr..."
"Mr. Ji." He held out his hand to Yoongi who shook it, the dads firm grip nearly broke his hand who played it off with a smile. The man walked over, sitting down next to his wife. "So, Yoongi, Saeyoon, how did you meet?" He asked.
"In the...garden..."
"Really? How did he get over the fence?" Her dad questioned, staring straight at Yoongi, who felt his soul burn to ashes. "I uh...well uh...I just...saw her through the front gate...and uh..."
"He saw me through the front gate and said hello, and I nearly dropped a flower pot so he quickly came in and helped me." Saeyoon saved it. At least, for a few seconds. "He trespassed onto our land?" The fathers voice boomed, Saeyoon and Yoongi gulped heavily. "He was just helping, be grateful Saeyoon made a friend, now, Yoongi, tell us about yourself." Her mother saved them this time.
Yoongi tensed, immediately coming up (which he was horrible at doing) with a backstory. "Well I uh...got a job at the...ice skating rank...and I live..." he paused for a moment, if they knew he lived on the west side of town, they'd kick him out no questions asked no eyelashes blinked, "east side of town." He nodded unsurely. "East side? My my...the middle class...well it's a good thing to see Saeyoon being humbled by such a human...you live close to the rich boys...the Kim boys are lovely, don't you think?" Her mother smiled, Yoongi nodded nervously.
He had no clue who the Kim boys were.
"Perhaps, you could speak with them, about coming over here, Saeyoon could really use a boyfriend." Her mother crossed her hands politely while Saeyoon and Yoongi's eyes darted to each other, remembering earlier, lips connected, her legs wrapped around his waist, hands getting tangled in each other's hair, uneven breathing and teeth biting lips.
Yoongi nodded, smiling. "Of course, I'd love to get her a boyfriend."
Her father stood up. "Well then, that's good to hear, now, Saeyoon has another boy coming over in bit, so she needs to get ready."
Yoongi felt his heart sink a little, Saeyoon and her mother tilted their heads, confused. "What? Darling...we never scheduled anything..." her mother put her hand on her husbands hands. "He's quite a stunning boy, I was just about to tell you when you brought me in."
"What's his name?"
"Umm...A...Akela...Lee Akela." Her father nodded, Yoongi felt the rage boil inside of him. How the hell did he get the approval to do this?
He looked at Saeyoon, impatiently nodding at her, she caught on and stood up. "Alright, I'll get ready, I should send Yoongi off." She walked over to Yoongi who stood up and walked to the front door. She waved him off, closing the door, he quickly jumped the deck railing and ran to the side of the house, climbing the shed and sliding open the window, Saeyoon running into the room not long after.
Their breathing was heavy as they practically collided together, pulling apart but not far, Saeyoon put her hands on his shoulders as he cupped her face, their noses nearly touching. "Lee Akela is a bad man, he's not rich, he's a poor man, you have to convince your parents to keep him out of this house, don't let him come over." Yoongi was panting from the run, Saeyoon had confusion in her eyes but nodded anyway. "But my parents would never believe me...if he called in rich then there's nothing I can do to fix it..." she kept her melodic voice low, despite the confusion, she had a deep sense of worry gushing through her at Yoongi's panic. "Alright then...just don't let him in your room...and don't go into rooms without somebody else there."
"But I can't do that...I have to be alone with the man...because my parents don't want to intrude..." she began to shake, Yoongi felt this horrible gut feeling that he couldn't do anything to help her. "No boys allowed in here."
"Let him into your room." Yoongi's voice became stern, Saeyoon shook her head a bit. "It's a no boys room! And you just said don't have him in my room!"
"I know, but I can easily watch you guys from here, hidden, and if he does anything I can get in, trust me, Sae, Akela is a very very bad man, and he's known around the poor side to bring weapons to dates."
Saeyoon now looked more terrified, but her brain also seemed to stir up an idea. "I'll try to convince my parents to not bring him over...wait inside your mustang...if I come...I got out of the date, if I don't, then you know to come to my window, all dates start at 7, at 7:15, if I don't come to you, then hurry." She cupped his face now, he nodded, kissing her sweet lips before pulling away and sliding down the window, he watched as she walked out of the room.
No time was wasted as he slid off the top of the shed and ran for his black mustang.
