Chapter four • Keisha

The morning light was coming in through the windows. I look at the clock and see that its wee hours in the morning. I quietly and softly lay Roman's head on a cushion, trying not to wake him, but he does. He rubs his sleepy eyes. "Are you leaving already?"

His morning voice is so sexy.

"Yes, I have to, my daughter is at her cousin's house so I have to go and get her." A sad pout is etched on his face.

"Please don't go."

"I'll see you another time, plus I have to teach Mya at ten so I'll see you then." I smile then frown when I see his serious face. "Fine." He sighs. I sadly go and put on my sneakers. "Bye." I wave.

"Bye." he mutters back. I leave his house and close the door behind me before going to my car. I really feel bad for the man, he's all alone with no woman. That fool broke his heart. I get in my car and drive off.

"Hi mum." Sariyah comes up to me and hugs me, her eyes showing signs she's been sleeping.

"Did you have a good time?" I hug her back, embracing her in my arms. "Yes, lots of fun. I thought you were gonna pick me up yesterday, what happened?"

"I thought that too, but I had to stay with him." She looks up to me and smirks.

"You guys had sex." She whispers.

"No we didn't, he was sad so I had to comfort him. I even told him about your dad."

"O-oh." She frowns. "I don't miss him, he shouldn't have left you like that." I stroke her hair as my eyes start to water. "I know."

Amara comes downstairs. "Hi auntie Keisha." She comes up to me and hugs me. "Hey Amara." I hug her back. "Where did your mother go?"

"In her bedroom, she's tired."

"Tell her I said thank you."

"Okay." She smiles.

"Bye Amara." Sariyah says.

"Bye Sariyah." We leave her house before going to our own.

"Sariyah you need shower, you woke up not long ago." I tell her.

"And I need to eat breakfast too, you need to do the same."

"I know." We go into our own bathrooms and have a shower, get dressed and come down for breakfast. "Mum." Sariyah calls.

"Yeah."

"Are... N-nevermind." She frowns and goes back to eating her hash browns.

"No, tell me. What's wrong?" I turn around to face her.

"Are you in love with that man?" She murmurs. I raise my eyebrows at her.

"No of course not, I'm his daughter's gymnast teacher, we can't fall in love. Why did you ask that?"

"I just asked because you stayed over at his house so I thought we guys were getting freaky with eachother." I chuckle and she smiles.

"No. That won't happen, you eat your breakfast okay." She does what I say.

I have been thinking about Roman lately but I don't love him, we barely know eachother.

"Mum." I turn around.

"Yes"

"I love you"

"And I love you too, baby"
