Omni is casually jogging through the Emerald Forest when he hears the sounds of gunfire and Grimm roars close by. Omni uses Frostbite as a grappling hook to climb a tree, before jumping from tree to tree towards the gunfire.
Omni arrives in a clearing to see Yang and Blake standing on either end of an Ursa corpse. He jumps from his perch on a tree branch, lands between the two girls, and looks around noticing the destroyed trees and Ursa corpses.
Omni: Aw man. I missed all the fun.
Yang/Blake: Omni!?
Omni: Oh, hey guys.
Yang: Where did you come from?
Omni(with a straight face): Mistral.
Omni than bursts out laughing. Yang chuckles.
Omni(calming down): Well, let's go.
Omni starts walking towards the forest temple.
Blake: Go where?
Omni: The Forest Temple.
Blake: And how do you know the right way?
Omni: Trade secret.
Omni than walks off. The two girls look at each other, Yang shrugs and follows the wolf fanus, Blake close behind.
Later, the small group arrives in a large clearing. In the middle of the clearing is a ruin.
Yang: Think this is it?
Omni: Only one way to find out.
Omni, instead of running like his companions expected, tilts his head to the right as if he's talking to someone. A flash and Archive appears over the Young Wolf's shoulder.
Archive: Yes, Omni?
Omni: Hey Arc, is this the Forest Temple?
Archive somehow gives Omni a 'really?' look.
Archive: Let's see, it's a ruin, in a forest, and there seems to be multiple objects inside the ruin. Gee, I don't know, what do you think?
Omni(sheepishly): It's the Forest Temple?
Archive: Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
Yang and Blake watch this unfold with amusement, though Blake seems more confused by the talking, floating object.
Blake: Um, Omni? What is that?
Omni: Huh? Oh! Blake, meet Archive. Archive, meet Blake.
Archive: Hello.
Blake: ...hi.
With introductions made, the group makes their way to the Forest Temple.
Once at the temple, the group finds the relics to be... chess pieces?
Omni(staring at the 'relics'): The heck? What kind of relics are chess pieces!?
Yang, ignoring Omni, picks up a white knight piece and shows it to Blake.
Yang: How about a cute little pony?
Blake: Sure.
Yang: That wasn't very hard.
Blake: Well this place wasn't exactly hard to find.
Archive(appearing over Omni's shoulder): For you! I'm the one that did all the searching!
Omni laughs.
