Team RWBY plus Omni are walking through Vale, decorations for the upcoming Vytal Festival are everywhere. The group stops in front of a sign that says 'Welcome to Vale' in large writing.
Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!
Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much Weiss, It's kinda weirding me out.
Omni(whispering to Ruby): Me too.
Ruby giggles.
Weiss(turning to look at the silver duo): How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breath taking.
The group continues walking.
Yang: You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.
Weiss: Quiet you.
The girls and guy arrive at the dock. A boat horn goes off.
Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?
Ruby/Omni(both holding a hand to their nose): Ugh, they smell like fish.
Both teens look at each other before looking away, blushing.
Weiss: I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon I feel it is my solemn duty to welcome to this fine kingdom.
Omni(whispering to Ruby): I bet she wants to spy on the others.
Blake: She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament.
Weiss(turning to Blake): Ah, you can't prove that!
Omni(whispering to Ruby): Called it.
Ruby laughs, until she spots something.
Ruby(looking at something down the street): Whoa.
The group turns to see a shop with police tape surrounding it and two detectives standing in front of the shop. RWBY plus Omni walk up to the store.
Ruby: What happened here?
Detective 1: Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.
The detective walks away.
Yang: That's terrible.
Detective 2: They left all the money again.
Ruby/Omni: Huh?
The detectives are standing next to each other, looking through one of the shop's broken windows.
Detective 1: Yeah, just doesn't make a lick o' sense. Who needs that much Dust?
Detective 2: I dunno, ya know what I mean?
Detective 1: You thinking the uh, White Fang?
Omni growls and clenches his fists at the mention of the White Fang.
Archive(Omni's mind): Easy, Guardian.
Ruby places a hand on Omni's arm and he calms down. Omni smiles at Ruby, who blushes and looks away.
Detective 2: Ya I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.
Weiss: Hmph. The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates.
