Ooarai's teams were getting bombarded by Kuromorimine from multiple directions.
"Well, ain't this just one big old gangband!" Chris shouted.
"I hear ya." Thomas said.
"Stow it. Let's just get somewhere safe." Artyom told them.
All the tanks swerved in a zig zag pattern. They had to get away or else they'd be taken out.
The Edelweiss and the T-14 fired on Kuromorimine and managed to both take out a tank each.
"Well, at least we took out two of theirs while they took out one of ours." Emma said.
"Yeah, but we didn't take out the one that took out Anteater team." Andrea told her while loading in another shell.
"We'll get another chance, just you wait." Wolfgang told them.
"Hmph. We'll show them. I bet it was Erika." Ella theorized.
"It most likely was. If you noticed where the shell would have hit, had Anteater not intercepted it, it was aimed at Miho's tank." Klaus said.
They now had a new target. Before any more could be said, Miho came over the radio.
"All teams, We're doing Operation: Smokey Smokes."
"Still hate that name." Wolfgang said.
"Smoke ready." - Edelweiss.
"Smoke ready." - Rabbit.
"Smoke ready." - Mallard.
"Smoke ready." - Duck.
"Smoke ready." - Leopon.
"Smoke ready." - Fenrir.
"Smoke ready." - Kalash.
"All teams, release the smoke." Miho ordered.
"Release the smoke." Every team said.
They pressed the button and made a huge smile cloud, blinding the Kuromorimine tanks.
"A smoke screen? Their not ninjas ya know. All tanks open-." Erika said.
"All tanks cease fire." Maho ordered.
"Are you sure we should let them get away? We can take them out now." Erika said.
"We shouldn't walk into their trap so carelessly. They probably want us to waste our ammo." Maho said.
"Enemy, 11'O clock!"
"They have an ISU and a Porsche Tiger. They aren't that fast and there's a hill up ahead. We have time."
"That's assuming the T-14 and the Edelweiss don't provide cover for them. You know how fast Andrea can reload." Erika said.
"That's right. I forgot about her. As long as their front is facing us, we won't do much damage to the others. Those two tanks would sacrifice themselves to ensure victory. Now I remember why Wolfgang and Vladimir made such an effective team." Maho said.
Once the Kuromorimine tanks saw that the smoke was clearing, Erika gasped in surprise.
"Their already all the way over there?" She looked through her binoculars.
