The Shine Queen (Volturi Kings)

Chapter One: Evelyn

Third Person POV
A girl run quickly in the forest dodging trees and jumping over the roots of the trees. A crow flow above the girl trying to help guide her through the trees. 'Master you need to stop. Your losing too much blood.' The crow said just before the girl collapse. The crow landed next to the girl and gently nuzzled his beak.

The crow jumps as he hears running from a different direction. The crow cried for help sensing the people weren't going to hurt his master. "Did you hear that?" A males voice called just as two figures appears in the middle of the forest.

Eric quickly flys towards them getting the man and woman attention. "It wants us to follow it." The woman said as the crow flow off with the two following close behind.

'Master! Please hold on!' The crow cried as it landed next to the girl. "Em!" The woman gasped as they went to the little girl. "Rose." The man said as they both smelled blood. "We need to take her to Carlisle quick!" Rose said just as Em went to call the said man.

"Hey, can you hear me?" Rosalie asked as the little girl opened her eyes slightly before closing them again. "Just hang in there. Will get you some help." Rosalie said as she picked up the little girl.

Time Skip

"How is she?" Rosalie asked her adopted father once he finished treating the little girls wounds. "She's fine now. She passed out from dehydration, exhaustion, and blood lost. Its a good thing you two got to her in time." Carlisle said as they all went to the living room.

"It's anybody wondering why her blood doesn't entice us?" Emmett asked as they all look to Jasper. "The smell of her blood only makes me feel more concerned then thirsty." Jasper said honestly.

"The real question is what are we going to do with her when she wake up." Edward asked as both Carlisle and Esme look at each other. "When she wake up while take her to the police. She could've been taken or something." Rosalie said as she looks at Emmett. "Maybe we shouldn't. At less not tell she wakes up." Esme said looking at Carlisle in worry just as Alice was pulled into a vision.

There stood a man in front of her and Jasper with the little girl beside the man. "Alice, Jasper, this is one of my close friends name James." The little girl said with a smile on her face. "I never though I would have a mate let alone two of them." A husk voice said as Alice and Jasper looks at the man in awe and love but the only thing that stood out to Alice was the man has ruby red eyes.

"Alice?" Jasper called out to his mate as Edward and her smiled. "We have another mate!" Alice said excitedly causing Jasper to look at her in shook. They both know there was something or someone messing in there long life they just never knew what it was tell now.

"Male or Female?" Jasper asked a bit excited himself to know that his and Alice's mate is out there somewhere. "A male. And the little girl knows him too. I think his name is also James." Alice said with a big smile as she look at Jasper before frowning again.

"He also has red eyes." Edward added getting everyone attention. "That means that little girl might know about us." He added as they family all look up to the room where the little girl lays asleep. "Then maybe it's best we don't loss slight of her."Carlisle said knowing he might have to tell the Kings about this.

"We get to have a little sister!" Emmett asked excitedly causing everyone to laugh and smile. "That's only if she accept. When can't just force her to be apart of the family." Carlisle said as Esme smiled at the thought of being able to cook in the kitchen.

"I should probably make something for her to eat when she wake up." Esme said as she peck Carlisle cheek before happily walking to the kitchen. Upstairs a crow landed by the window to watch its master slowly getting color back on her skin again.

'Master.' The crow calls causing the little girl to slowly wake up. "Eric." The little girl mumbled as she opened her eyes. 'Your safe master. These vampires are helping you.' Eric said as the little girl sat up. 'Are they like James?' The Little girl asked as she looks outside to see her crow.

The crow nod his head before flying off just as the door opens. The girl slightly jumped as Carlisle came into the room. "Hello. I'm Carlisle." The man said softly as the girl smile lightly. "Hello. I'm Evelyn Phoenix." The girl said as Carlisle went to check the IV. "Do you remember anything?" Carlisle asked causing the Evelyn heart to beat slightly faster. "Yes. Mean people where after me because I'm speacil." Evelyn said as she moved herself away from Carlisle.

"It's okay. Your safe here. We won't hurt you." Carlisle said as he stood still. Evelyn studied him before relaxing a bit and nodding her head. "Do you have any family?" Carlisle asked as he slowly sat on the bed. "No there dead." Evelyn said sadly as she plays with her hand.

"When you mean speacil-" Carlisle started only to stop when he see Evelyn slowly moved her hand over a wound causing it to close and heal. "I'm gifted." She said continuing to heal herself as if she didn't care that Carlisle was watching her in awe.

"This things after me want my shine. At less that what Uncle Dan told me. He also said that those thing may look like people but there not. There monster they take and kill kids like me." Evelyn said as she look at Carlisle in slightly fear.

"Don't worry dear. We won't let them take you." Carlisle said just as Evelyn wrapped her arms around him. Carlisle smiled softly as he felt warmth filled his chest when he hugs her back tightly. Just then Esme gently knocks on the door causing the two to pull away from each other.

"I'm sorry. I made food." Esme said with a kind smiled as Evelyn smell the air and her stomach growled loudly. "It smell yummy." Evelyn said not at all embarrasses. Esme smiled brightly as she gently place a plate of chicken and mashpatato on the bed.

"Thank you Mrs." Evelyn smiled as she started to eat. "You welcome dear." Esme smiled as Carlisle got up from the bed. "Alright we'll let you eat then you can meet the rest of us." Carlisle said causing Evelyn to nod her head wildly in excitment. "Okay!" She cheered as both Carlisle and Esme smiled and leave Evelyn alone.
