Two Years Later
"Happy birthday and congratulations," the valet approached King at his car ready for him to come out.
"Thank you." A big smile on his face he got out the car heading into the room where he and his best men were suppose to be getting ready.
Today was his twenty fifth birthday and his wedding day. May 19, 2025 to be one of the best days of his life.
"The King has arrived," Messiah dapped him up following with Christina and Jalen. His best men were beyond happy, never thinking they would see the day that the nonchalant male that everyone tried not to get on his bad side had gone.
He went from fighting to being a build a bear for his woman and they all loved how he treated Royal like a princess, especially Messiah.
"You ready?"
"I would have done this shit the day after I proposed. Tour just be fucking shit up." King had dropped his third album that hit #1 and went platinum three times.
It was time for him and his woman to take a break. Her hair products were still bringing a shit load of money and they planned on having enough money for their children's kids, kids. Now it was time to go on vacations and spend quality time together.
Their honeymoon in Bali would be a great start complimenting the trip a few months ago at Spain.
Putting together their ties and spending the last times together knowing Royal was going to keep him in a room for weeks, they all laughed and vibed out.
Two knocks on the door was heard and Tarell walked in the room making it go quiet. "Can we have a minute?" Yes, regardless of the tension and problems King still invited his parents to his wedding.
He wasn't going to rob his mother of seeing her son get married. They're bond had gotten much better since he attended therapy with her. Heiress, Bianca, and him had many mother son and daughter days. It was something new and he loved it. It felt like he could experience a little of what his childhood should have been like.
Heading out giving King a head nod it was almost time for him to walk out anyway.
"I'm proud of you," Tarell cleared his throat looking at his son's eyes like a man. "As a father and your elder it was embarrassing for me to see my son mature and become a man faster than I did. Having kids and providing is only half of being a man. I never had a father, I never knew how to be one and that's not an excuse. Life has brought out the drained out strung out on lean side of me. I use to be the happiest nigga but something clicked. I want to say I apologize and I'm going to therapy. I'm not asking for your forgiveness, I'm thanking you for inviting me today and letting me have chance after chance." Letting his father finish King took out his grills revealing his pearly white teeth and brushed his hair.
Making sure no hair fell onto his suit he walked up to his father letting him in for a hug. "I don't forgive you, but I hope one day we can develop a father son bond." That was all King could give his father he was disappointed by him too many times to have more words.
