chapter 4~

Alyssa's p.o.v

We sat in silence waiting for one another to speak first. When downloading this app I never thought that I would be sitting in a strangers house.

"What are you thinking about?" Cameron asked me in a quiet voice. For some reason I feel like he had a personality change. To me he seemed so confident and so sure of himself, I mean you have to be to kiss a random girl.

But right now he seems maybe....nervous? I smiled alittle. "Maybe we could take advantage of this time to get to know each other more." I looked up at him. "Aww babe you wanna get to know me, well I'm just honored. " he says moving closer smirking. Yep nothing changed still an arrogant smart ass.

"Yea, you can back up now. Anyway I was looking at the pictures down stairs. Of you and that women? I'm guessing shes your mom."

"Ye shes pretty anit she." He says smiling. He still has that nice smile he had when he was younger in the picture. "Yea she is, Especially the picture of her on her wedding day. What happened to your dad?"

Hes very quiet. I think I mentioned a touchy subject. "He lefted. No actually he died." He said in a monatone voice. "Oh, atleast he didnt leave you because he didnt want your anything ." I said smiling trying to turn this situation into a good thing.

"No. Like I said, this bitch lefted. Just turned out that soon after he died."he said with the starighest face possible.

It's like what do you say to things like that? "Do you have any idea why he would?"

He paused for a moment and started to think. "I never actually thought about that but I really wasnt surprised that he did leave. My parents started arguing about something which lead to their divorce and next thing I know I was asked which parent i wanted to be with, and i chose my mother." He said maintaining eye contact with me.

I dont know why he feels comfortable telling me all this but i must admit it's nice to know that he trust me to some level. "What about you? How is your family?" He ask me breaking me out of my thoughts. "Well I do live with both of my parents and my twin brother, you know ja'kire. My older sister Ashley is in college, her first year. And I was really sad when she did move at first because we were really close. I havent heard from her that much only once. She said something about her finding a new group of friends but didnt tell me too much."

"Cool. It's nice to have siblings I bet you dont feel as lonely as I do. But I do have Zachary, were so close hes like a brother to me." He said forming a smile. Me and Cameron talked back and forth and before we knew it 4 hours went by.

"Cameron!!" I screamed laughing like crazy. "What?? it's true zach fell right off the rollercoaster!!" He said laughing with me. I take a minute to catch my breath. I check my phone and look at the time. "Oh shit! Its 8 o'clock ja'kire gonna kill me!!" I say standing up walking towards the door.

"That's all my fault . If you want I can explain to him what happened." He said walking after me. "No it's fine I got it, thank you." I smile at him, run down the stairs and head out the door. Wow it's so dark out here. Maybe leaving camerons house so late wasnt a bad idea.

I dont know about New York, but New Jersey is beautiful and peaceful at night. Not necessarily because of a view or nothing like that but because in the dark, people cant see you and you cant see them. I know it could be dangerous but that's also what I like. Not always knowing if what your doing is safe or not but taking that risk of the 50% chance of nothing happening. Not only could nothing happen but no one will talk to you. That is at least what I thought untill I heard someone say, "for some reason I knew you would be here."

I turned around so fast that I ended up falling on the concrete. "Who the hell are you?" I scream at the figure.

"Woah baby calm down it's just me, Zachary. " the person, Zachary said holding his hand out. I took his hand and stood up. "What do you want I have to get home." I say continuing to walk. Good thing my house is just down the street from Cameron's.

"Cameron told me you just left his house so I walked by his house and saw you. I do live right around the corner so it didnt take me that long to get here." He explains.

"Okay well.....see you tomorrow at school!" I say running home. Weirdo.
