*** A little flash back from December 4, 18 years ago***
Namjoon was brought again by his father to another party hosted by one of his friends/investor, the other Kim family.
How did his father can even thought that a 10year old boy would enjoy this kind of event with older people?
"Dad can I just go to the garden?" young Namjoon asked his father as he tagged its coat.
"Namjoon, it is not good to loiter around someone else's garden you know?" his father answered.
"Just let him. Don't worry it won't be a bother." Mr. Kim replied. "You can stroll on our garden if you want" he smiled at the kid.
Namjoon head out and walked towards the gardens that is surrounding the mansion.
He kept on walking, amazed by the beautiful landscape lit by the moonlight and the lamps placed in the garden. After a few more strolling he heard a pleasing melody, someone is singing. Even though it is just humming, it still brought warmth to his heart.
He followed the sound and ended up on the back part of the garden and the mansion. Namjoon saw another child with long black hair and a beautiful face, the most beautiful face he have ever seen. "A goddess? A fairy?" he said not noticing that he is speaking out loud.
The other child got startled and stopped singing. "Who's there?"
"I'm sorry to surprise you." Namjoon bowed as he apologized "I am one of the party's attendees and I got lost with the beauty of the garden, and your beautiful voice brought me here"
"B-beautiful?" the child asked blushing.
"Yes." the other child replied, being true to himself.
"T-thank you."
Namjoon smiled at the kid. "What are you doing here all by yourself?"
"I just want to watch them, since tonight, they will reach their full bloom." the kid pointed out to one of the two trees close to each other.
Namjoon's eyes widened from excitement as he saw what the other kid was talking about. "Cherry blossoms?"
"Yes. They're so beautiful right? And the autumn leaves of the other tree beside it compliments its pink blossoms"
"But it is already December, how come there are cherry blossoms at this time of the year?"
Namjoon knew that cherry blossoms supposed to bloom on March-April and not December.
"They are called Fuyuzakura or Winter cherry blossoms. It's amazing right?" the kid smiled at Namjoon.
