About my life

Hey my names Mia Lesley I was born 18th June 2002 with my wonderful parents Dave Lesley and Jane Martin. Unfortunately when I was 5 years old my parents decided to get a divorce I was young so it never really affected me let's just say I was use to it. My mom has always been a strong independent women she's my role model when her and my dad split up my dad moved far away from California he moved all the way to New York and never contacted us again my mom says he never wanted a child but I was the best thing that ever happened to her. Anyway fast forward to when I was 12 we got the news that my dad had taken his own life due to severe depression even tho I didn't know him well it was still really hard to deal with. 

Anyway I'm now in my sophomore year of high school is crazy I honestly can't wait for college my mom always tells me her amazing experiences at college so I can't wait. High school has been great since I pretty much get along with everyone and I have my best friend Lake Jones  me and lake have been best friends since kindergarten I have known her forever she's honestly the best craziest person I have met and I'm so lucky to have her in my life. It's crazy to think that we will be in college soon my dream is to become a nurse it was always my moms dream and she never did it so I wanna do it to make her proud and because I think it will be super cool. 

So this is where my life got a little crazy my mom was on a business trip that's where she met Lucas Read my stepdad they had been together 7 months before they decided to get married which is insane like that's so fast. And for me it was pretty tough because me and my mom are best friends she had stayed single since my dad so I never had a father figure in my life. So this caused  a lot of arguments between me and my mom another reason I was so against  it was because Lucas is only 29 my mom is 45 like he's so much younger.  

When I had first met Lucas it was very unexpected my mom has invited him for dinner which I had no idea about. He seemed alright and he was quite good looking he talked about his business that he owned and he told me about how him and my mom met. About 2 months later Lucas moved in which was hard to adjust to because I was just so use to just having my mom around and him and my mom would kiss and hug all the time it was gross and kinda weird.
