*the call*

Gemma: First dad now you what is it mother.
Mom: Look just listen to me honey because I promise on my own life and yours that I didn't know your father was doing that to you.
Gemma: Is that all you called me to say?
Mom: Also your dad is planning to expose your secrets.
Gemma: What type of secrets?
Mom: The ones of you cutting.
Gemma: How does he know about them?
Mom: I don't know honey but about the gang secret he has decided not to reveal that one just the cutting one.
Gemma: Thanks mom for letting me know all of this but I really have to go to a meeting with the gang but I really want to meet up sometime when I am back in California ok?
Mom: I would really like that bye .

You hang up. FP walks over to you.

FP: What did your mom want?
Gemma: How did you know?
FP: I have ears Gemma so now I need to know what secret you were talking about?
Gemma: I used to cut myself when I was 10 for different reasons and now my dad knows some how and has decided instead of saying I am in a gang he is going to say that secret instead.

A tear escapes your eye.

FP: Come here.

FP hugs you. You feel safe in his arms because he is like the dad you have always wanted.

FP: You are like a daughter to me Gemma so I just want to make sure you are ok.
Gemma: And I am.
FP: If you need me for anything-
Gemma: I will call you now I need to go talk to your biological son because I shouted at him in school today and I feel bad.
FP: I am sure he will understand.
Gemma: Later FP.
FP: Bye.

You go at the White Worm and decide to text Jug.

Jug💙

Gemma: Can you meet me at Pops with Archie, Betty and Veronica in 15.

Jughead : We will be there Gemma and I hope everything is ok.

Gemma: Everything is ok. See you there.

You walk into Pops and you see the usual four friends sitting in the same booth that they always sit at drinking their milkshakes. You walk over to Pop and order a strawberry milkshake since they haven't noticed you yet and once it was ready you walked over to the booth that they were sitting at and stopped right at the top of the table.

Gemma: Hey can I sit?
Jughead: Was that even a question. Of course you can.
Gemma: Thank you.
Archie: So you called us here why?
Gemma: To explain myself.
Veronica: What do you want to say because we aren't going to judge you Gemma.
Gemma: Basically my dad called asking me where I was and that even if I didn't say then he will find out another way and make my life hell. That is what made me shout at Jughead which I am sorry I did by the way. I then got to the White Worm and FP was talking to me about revealing to my friends back in California that I am a serpent but I am not ready. Then I got a call from my mom telling me that she didn't even know about what my dad was doing and he is going to reveal a secret but it is not the gang secret it is another one.
Betty: What secret?
Gemma: When I was 10 I started to cut myself.
Veronica: Have you stopped?
Gemma: I stopped 2 months ago.

You lift up your sleeve and you show your cuts that are healed up.

Betty: I have scars to.

Betty opens her hands and reveals the scars shaped as crescent moons on her palms.

Gemma: Yours aren't as bad as mine though.
Archie: But you two have something in common.
Gemma: Her scars are from digging her nails in mine are from cutting that isn't something in common.
Veronica: He meant the thing in common is your scars because you both have scars.
Gemma: I guess. Now I have to go but Archie I might be home later I just have to discuss something with Toni.
Archie: Ya that is ok take your time because you have a key.
Gemma: Ya thanks. Bye!
All: Bye!

You then left the diner and went to the spot that you and Toni usually meet at.
