Chapter twenty eight

Third person POV

Jimin saw Jungkook in garden and rushed towards him. He saw Jungkook fisting his hair while sting on bench. When he neared him, Jimin's eyes widen hearing faint sob from Jungkook. He stayed still behind Jungkook because seeing Jungkook like that, he didn't know how to act right now.(I never thought , jerk like you could be like this)

Jimin slowly placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. Jungkook turned his head back. When he saw Jimin , he quickly wiped his tears, stood up and grabbed his bag to walk a from there as he didn't want to hear Jimin's taunt and had no energy to argue also. Jimin grabbed Jungkook's hand when he noticed younger walking away.

"Stay , I want to talk with you" Jimin said and sat on bench and so as Jungkook. They sat silent awkwardly for sometime as they both didn't know how to start and what to say because they had never talked with eachother alone. Jimin decided to break the silence after some time .

"Do you  know Jungkook, how much I hate you?" Jimin said while looking Jungkook. Jungkook smiled sadly and nodded.

"I could still feel your punches and your taunting words for me" Jungkook said while looking down on floor .

"Yeah because you had hurt my Tae so much . Nobody had ever hurt him and humiliated him as you did" Jungkook heart sank down and felt pain hearing Jimin. Jungkook started fidgeting his fingers .

"I'm sorry ....I'm so sorry for everything.... today I feel , I'm being punished for hurting him, hurting a person like Tae , I mean Taehyung . I deserved it though. I'm really sorry for being jerk and asshole" Jungkook looked at Jimin with tearful eyes.

Jimin felt lump in his throat because he could see honesty and sincerity in Jungkook's eyes. Jimin gulped when he noticed Jungkook's voice which was holding so much pain and hurt. Jungkook looked down again when he felt and found Jimin intense staring and judging him silently.

"Do...do you like Tae....now?" Jungkook widen his eyes, his heart sped up and unknowingly his tears which he was trying hard to hold back,  rolled down on his cheeks . He stayed silent because he doesn't know how to answer it. After doing so many mistakes, he couldn't just admit it and that also infront of Tae's best friend , who was like big brother for him . How could he admit that he like the person who he had hurt the most.

"Jungkook , please..answer me dammit ...do you like him?" Jimin slowly got furious by Jungkook's silent.

(Please say no, Jungkook...you don't like Tae, right? You are behaving like this only because you are feeling guilty for treating him so badly, isn't it? After hurting him so much, you can't like him...no , you can't)

After struggling with his thoughts whether to say or not, Jungkook decided to tell but he couldn't form a word from nervousness.

"I ... I ..." Jungkook shuttered, he was trembling fisting his hands , tears again welled up in his eyes.

Jimin noticed all , he got annoyed by Jungkook's behavior and slowly anger taking control over him.

"You can't ...you can't like Tae, not now....how could you , after doing all... after treating him so badly, how could you like him.. how.. no , you can't Jungkook... you can't" Jimin grabbed Jungkook's collar. Jungkook stayed still looking Jimin with sad eyes.

"I couldn't help it , Jimin.... I couldn't.... I tried ... I tried...not to but ......you are right, I have no right to like him after doing all those things to him but I can't help it" Jungkook's tears rolled down. Jimin pushed Jungkook harshly which made Jungkook stumbled back . Jungkook  balanced himself and stand stilled on his place. Jimin got more furious.
