Five months passed since me and Jay have started working in our office.The amount of money we gained was considerable,and that pleased us ,beside our sexual fantasies.
I was making a fruit salad while Jay was repairing the car.All of a sudden,I heard my phone ringing.I quickly stood up and noticed it was an unknown number.
"Hello?"I shyly answered.
"Amelie Reele,is that you?"I heard a man voice.
"Yes,it s me"I nodded .
"We are sorry to announce you some bad news"the guy sighed.
"W-what do you mean,What happened?"
"Unfortunately,your father was stabbed several times.He lost a lot of blood and couldn t make it.I m so sorry"he mumbled.
I dropped my phone and remained in the same place shaking and I had tears in my eyes.
Jay may have noticed me because he ran inside quickly to me.
"Honey what s going on?"
I felt dizzy and holds my head
"Miss Reele?"I heard the guy s voice still on the speaker.
"Amelie!Amelie,don t pass out now-"Jay s voice was already fading and I fainted on the floor.

Later on,I woke up in the bed and looked at Jay who was standing next to me with a worried face.
"Here ,take this"he whispered and gave me a glass of water.
I sobbed and shook my head."You think I care of me now?"I yelled and threw the glass away.
"Jeez,Amelie,just tell me what s going on"he said.
I covered my face crying hard.I felt his big arms embracing me and holding me close at his chest.
"Dad died"I mumbled and cried uncontrollably.
I saw Jay s eyes widening and I sobbed loudly.
"W who did that?Why?How?"Jay asked.
"I know who"I nodded angry now."Matilda,that bitch"I clenched my fists."I will kill her".
"Wait no,calm down"he said and held me tight.
"Who s that?"
"The bitch that made ir possible for dad to stay in arrest and who kidnapped me"I scoffed.
Jay sighed and rubbed my back."Amelie..there s nothing to do now.It s all gone.I m sorry for your loss"he sighed .

That day I couldn t stop crying nor believing that everything was real.
