*Harry’s POV*

I grabbed my bags and slammed the car door. I haven’t been the same since I found out about the big move about three weeks ago. Moving meant leaving behind my girlfriend, well my ex-girlfriend now. When I tried to tell Sarah, she got mad at me for “wanting to leave her”.

At this point, I didn't know what I was going to do with my life. There was a few more days of summer break to settle in to the new house, and then I would start school. As I walked up to the door step, I scanned the houses that surrounded my new home and most if them were small, elegant cottages, perfect for a small family like mine. There is one in particular that catches my eye: a brown cabin with a soft emerald colored door. It reminds me of something Sarah would like. Being in Iowa, I wasn't surprised about the large amounts of farmland. New York smelled way better than Iowa.

I realized that I’m just standing by the front door, looking at the ground, so I hesitantly grab the door knob, slowly turn it and step in to my new house. My family is already inside and I’m glad to find out I will no longer be sharing a room with Gemma. My mum leads me to my room and I mutter a quiet thank you. I lay down on my bed, surprised at how comfortable it actually is, and look up at my ceiling.

So much has happened in these past few weeks; I found out we were moving, Sarah dumped me, and I left all my friends. My parents told me that I would make new friends, but I was raised in New York (well at least after we moved from the UK) and that's where home is. That's where my best friend is.

I sluggishly sat up and moved slowly back to my door. I opened it enough to sit my head through and tell my family (who are all sitting in the living room) that I am going to bed and not to make to much noise.

    “Someone’s grumpy,” Gemma sneered.

Harry just ignored her and played down on his bed, not even changing, and fell asleep.
