“I would love to live with you, dear. As long as you two keep it down at night.” the elder spoke making Cheryl and Toni share an embarrassed look before Cheryl proceeded.
“You won't even hear us, Nana. And you'll be safer there.”
“I will move with you, then.” Rose said, nodding slightly.
“Great.” the brunette said happy, she had actually grown fond of the old lady that'd become her grandma in law.
“Where’s mumsy anyways?”
“Out with one of her escorts.”
“Ugh. As always. Thanks. What time will she be back, did she tell you?”
“Not until Tuesday.”
“But it is Tuesd- ohh...”
“Yes, dear. She will be away for the next week.”
“Then we should throw an engagement party!” the redhead spoke with excitement as she turned around to face her soon to be wife.
“I don't know, babe.”
“Please.” she gave her the usual sad puppy expression that always managed to convince the brunette.
“Fine. With one condition. The serpents are invited AND we will only invite those close to you and not those who mistreated you.”
“We can manage that. But it is obvious the serpents are invited, baby. They're your family.”
“Good. Then let's start planning that party.” the shorty said, chuckling as she took her fiance's hand and the two walked up the stairs into Cheryl's room.
“So, Veronica, Betty, Archie, Josie, Reggie, and my vixens.”
“Sounds good, but where's Jughead?”
“He’s in the serpents, dummy so he is already on the list.” the redhead giggled.
“Oh, right.” she chuckled, shaking her head.
“It could be an engagement pool party! I mean, summer just started.”
“That is a good idea.”
“Then we shall do an engagement pool party.”
“Also, let's get Alice, Mary, Fred, Hermione, Jellybean, pregnant Polly, Pop Tate and Charles invited.”
“And FP?”
“Once again dummy, he's like a father to you, of course he's coming. And he is part of the serpents.”
“Oh yeah, right.” Toni chuckled.
As the time went by, the two had planned almost everything for the engagement pool party, they were now ordering a few white and red balloons to throw in the pool. After done with that, excitement took over Cheryl who giggled happily as she grabbed Toni's face and crashed her lips against her fiance's.
“Mhmph..” the brunette accidentally let out a surprised moan while her hands quickly reached for the redhead’s waist to pull her closer. Before the two broke apart for air, “What was that for?”
“Nothing, I'm just really excited.” she shrugged.
