They're gonna kill me. Oh god how stupid can I be? I should know not to run from them by now! I think, hot tears gushing out of my eyes. I slowly slap a hand over my mouth to stop me making any sounds. I hear the sound of a click echo through the library and stop breathing. They'regonnakillme they'regonnakillme. The panic takes over me, and I take a deep breath through my nose. I hear the tap of multiple shoes on the linoleum and cower into the corner farther. I start silently rocking back and forth. A hand suddenly shoots through the pile of books next to me, spilling them next to me. I let out a muffled yelp, and the hand strokes my cheek.

Dallas.

Another hand shoots out on the opposite side and the tears keep coming. The hand starts stroking my other cheek and wiping the tears.

Jonah.

I hear more books pop out from behind my head and my hair is yanked into a tight fist before being pulled so my face angles up. The lights flip on and the sound of shoes fills my ears, sparking more panic. I take shallow breaths and try to pull away from the hands. Micah tightens his grip and tugs on my hair. I start hyperventilating and panicking. Suddenly, there's a shadow blocking the light. I hesitantly open my eyes and see Hayden. More tears start pouring out of my eyes.

"Shhh, sweetheart, don't cry." He says in a semi-calm voice. The hands suddenly leave my face and hair. I scoot towards the other exit.

"P-please. D-d-do-don't k-kill me." I beg. He somewhat-smiles at me before scooping me up.

"I'm not going to kill you," He soothes. I try and pull away from him, making him growl and tighten his grip. I shake like a leaf in the wind and he rocks me back and forth in his arms. I look around for the other guys and see them with hooded looks in the shadow of the doorway. I calm down and the tears begin to quit when the inevitable happens. Hayden drops my lower half so that I'm standing up and then pushes my front half on the table. I struggle at first but then stop when I realize I'm already in enough trouble and lay down with a sigh of frustration.

"Good girl." Jonah praises from the doorway. "We're not going to hurt you Honey, but you need to learn that you belong to us,"

"Do you know why you're receiving this punishment Dana?" Micah asks, sounding professional.

"I angered Hayden." I tell them.

"How did you do that?"

I tap my fingers nervously on the table. "I held hands with Kame-" I'm cut off by a muffled spank coming to my ass.

"Don't use his name." Hayden warns, rubbing the place he hit.

"I held hands with someone and stood up for him." I waited for the spank to come.

"Why did you do that?" Micah asks again.

"He was in that position because of me. If I didn't talk to him then the fight wouldn't have happened. I felt responsible for the situation." I mumble.

"Why else did you do?" I send Micah a confused expression.

"I... helped him to the nurse?" I question. Another spank.

"Not that."

"Um..." I hum. "I skipped school?" A satisfied huff comes behind me and Hayden massages the place he spanked.

"And why did you do that?"

I bite my lip, contemplating telling them. Two spanks come this time, making me yelp.

"I highly suggest you tell us before your punishment is doubled." Dallas warns.

"I met a girl in my English class..." I trail off. They look at me expectantly. "Stephanie." I whisper, looking down.

"Fuck." Jonah says, walking over to me. I keep my head buried between my arms and feel my chin being lifted. "Dana. What she said was true, I'm sorry." I feel my stomach sink in sadness.

"You don't want to mate me?" I ask, tears leaking out of my eyes and a sob escaping me. His eyes widen and he looks panicked.

"Good job jackass." I hear Hayden mumble before another soft spank comes. I glare at him, anger overcoming my hormones.

"Fuck you." I tell him, and he tilts his head in amusement.

"Listen here and listen good, we used to have sex with her. USED to. We would never cheat on you. Especially with her. We do want to mate you. Shit, I think we all would if you wanted us to."

"And who's we?" I ask.

"Your mates." He points to them and himself.

"Before you say we, make sure who to point at." I snarl. He narrows his eyes.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Micah asks.

"Don't act so innocent you fucking prick." I hiss at him. Another spank comes but I continue to glare at Micah.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." He says, looking bored and confused. The bell rings.

"In a minute, sexy, you know... you could always come in and I don't know, help me undress?" I mimic in a high pitched, nasally voice. He stills in his seat and looks at me guiltily.

"What the hell is she talking about?" Dallas accuses, looking at Micah darkly.

"I took Stephanie to Kohl's because she needed a new dress for a ball or dance. I was waiting for her to dress and told her to hurry up and she invited me inside the dressing stall. I told her to hurry up. Next thing I know..." He looks at me with a sad look.

"Go on." I smile sickly sweet. He winces.

"Next thing I know she comes out topless. I told her to get back inside the stall but she was just standing there, so I pushed her back in the stall and told her to knock it off. She whined for a half an hour and tried to jump me before she finally came back out and we left."

"Sure." I roll my eyes at him.

"It's true!" He defends.

"That's not what I saw."

"Listen here Dana. After a male meets his soulmate, he can't have those kinds of thoughts about others unless he rejects his mate, which I would never do. It's the same with women, but worse." He walks over and kneels so he's eye level with me.

He's telling the truth. Trust him.

I sigh, looking away from him. He grabs my chin and makes me meet his gaze.

"I love you." He whispers. My eyes widen at the admiration and truth I see in his eyes. He slowly comes in for a kiss and I let him. He gives me a quick peck on the mouth and pulls away. He stands back up and walks behind me.

"Dana. Do you understand why you're getting an added punishment?" Hayden asks, amusement lacing his tone.
