Shermy doesn't like driving. In fact, she hates it, and that's why Mike has to drive again. Which he's okay with that since hes Shermy's friend and they both work at the same place so it's just nice to pick her up. Of course, he has to ask when she's going to get over her fear of driving.
"Shermy, you gotta get over your fear at some point, it isn't so bad," Mike said, stopping at a red light. "Hell no! I'm not risking my life again like when I was getting my driver's license!" Shermy panicked. "Dude, that was like... 5? 6? Years ago? You'll be fine, trust me." Mike said. "Trust me, I understand where your coming from though."
"Mike I almost hit an OIL TRUCK AND BLEW UP!" Shermy said. "I could have been turned into LAMB CHOPS for god's sake!"
"Hey not gonna lie, lamb chops are pretty tasty when they're instantly grilled to a crisp," Mike said jokingly. "Especially when they're going over the speed limit too!" Shermy hit him in the shoulder and pouted at him. "Stop bullying me, you nerd," Shermy said. She crossed her arms. "You're cute when you're mad, I hope you know this is just making my day better," Mike said.
"Ugh god Mike you're such a fucking flirt, it's amazing that we're still best friends," Shermy said sighing. She put in one earbud and turned on her iPod, shuffling through her songs. She saved over 400 songs on it, she modded it with 80GB so she can put more songs whenever she wanted. "Hey, ever listened to that album I suggested a few days ago?" Mike asked.
"Oh yeah! Shit, I downloaded it the other day but I haven't listened to it yet." It slipped her mind about it, she got distracted messaging people online after she downloaded it. "I'll listen to it right now... wait what was it called again?"
"It's called 'The First Glass Beach Album'" Mike said. "Yeah I know it's the first album smartass, but what's it called?" Shermy said annoyed. "I'm not being a smartass, I swear that's what it's called dude!" Mike said as he stopped at another red light. Shermy looked through her albums and sure enough, it was actually called "The First Glass Beach Album".
"This reminds of the time I was playing No Time To Explain and you asked what the game was and I told you the title and you kept saying 'What do you mean there's no time to explain? You could just tell me!'" Shermy said laughing a little. "Oh god yeah, I was so confused until you actually had to show me that it was called No Time To Explain. I swear one day we're gonna find a soda just called 'Soda' and we're gonna fight about it."
"The day that happens is the day I give up on the world naming things," Shermy said as she put in the other earbud and started listening to the album. She drifted off and daydreamed through the rest of the car ride. They got to the office 30 minutes later.
"Well... another day, another dollar." Mike said exiting the car. Shermy knew today was gonna be a long one.
