Someone knocked at the door. Florence opened the door. It was Troy.

"Why you come here?" She asked. He was quiet.

"How can you be so pitiless? Don't be quiet! Say something!" Florence shouted.

"You don't know the reason!" He roared and entered the house.

He was here to meet her mom. They both were standing in the lawn. Troy apologized mom for going back from his decision. He told her that he didn't want to get married.

"Why are you in the annexe?" Mom asked anxiously.

"I'm not comfortable," Troy yelled.

"Something happened between you two while I was out? Why do you want to go back?" Mom asked again.

"Because it's not going to work. I can feel it," Troy said.

"Sit down," she tried to console him.

"This decision won't make anyone happy. Besides, everything feels so strange to me. I feel I might let you down if I stayed in it. Please don't stop me, Aunty. Let finished all this. I realized I can't do this," He finalized.

"I forced you to accept my proposal. But I can't force you to stay. I know. What will happen after my death, that's what pains me deeply," she stopped for a moment then she begged, "Don't go. Marry her."

"But I..." Troy lack the ability to complete his sentence. Seraphina continued, "Listen, think of it as a dying woman's last wish, please."

He moved his head.

She spoke, "I want you to promise me something?"

"A promise," he repeated her words.

"In fact, I want you to take an oath. Promise you'll hold onto your marriage, no matter what. I'm sorry if Florence did any misbehave, please try to understand," she stated.

"Okay, I promise. I'll marry her. I'll never give up no matter what I promise," he searched words.

Mom said, "Thank you," and a flood of tears released from her eyes.

Florence thought, "I'll find a way to get rid of the person who has no pride. How can I get rid of him? He's a devil in angel disguise! I will talk to mom directly. Enough is enough."

As she came out of her room, she met Troy again. He was leaving. " what you are planning next?" She shouted. He was quiet and wanted to leave without any argue but she again stated, "I'll pay you so hard...I'll make your life a living hell. You'll die through each breathe you take." He left without any respond.

"If I walked away...I just can't." As Troy thought about the results of his going back he changed his mind in a flash. "I made promise. She's really sick that's why I made a promise. But I can't just ignore what happened."

"You're the one who's been repeatedly making mistakes over the years! I'm just fixing your mistakes and trying to keep you from getting hurt. You'll eventually understand that." Words echoed in Florence's mind. Her imagination was broke by the ringtone of her mobile. It was Scarlet. She picked the call, "Hello."

"Got the tickets. On my way!" Scarlet yelled. Florence answered, "Great."

"You don't sound well. What is it now?" Scarlet asked.

"Mom asked me to get higher education and to be a businesswoman. And I did. She asked me to work with Troy. And I said yes. You know that, too." Florence yelled.

"So you're mad at your mom again," Scarlet answered.

"This is my life, not hers," Florence steamed.

"Marriage issue again?" Scarlet asked.

"Scarlet, I...I can't spend my whole life with someone I don't love," Florence helplessly answered.

"Sounds bad," Scarlet felt sorry for her. We'll put our heads together and a find a way out," Scarlet recommended.

"You know what? Change your ticket and fly to another place. I will meet you there." Florence finalised.

"Don't be crazy. You'll go there to escape marriage," Scarlet consoled.

"You're right. I'm being crazy right now. And why should I change my life? Why?"Florence shouted.

"Stop talking in riddles, Florence. Tell me what you want to do." She asked.

"I'll talk to you later," Florence cut the call.

"I'll make you regret this, mother. You are going to realise what a huge mistake this was. I never asked for this marriage! But I'll do it. Welcome to hell, Mr.Davies." she whispered.
