Troy and Florence had to leave Italy for a meeting. It was all a sudden. Florence was there in their house. They had their own house in Florence city. They sometimes spent vacations there. They visit Florence every year just to see the famous pieces by historical artists such as Raphael, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, Giotto and Titian. It is home to one of the most famous art galleries in the world where many Renaissance masterpieces were housed. Troy was supposed to stay in a hotel. So they both left in different taxis from the airport. After eating dinner in the hotel, Florence arrived at her house to get some rest.
They wanted to take part in the trade of textiles especially trade of wool, due to these trades Florence became a very wealthy city.
Next morning, when Florence woke up. She entered into the kitchen, she poured some milk into her cup. Put a green tea bag in it. Add some sugar. Then stir a spoon in it. She was taking her coffee and reading the newspaper. In a flash, Troy came out from one of the room in front of the kitchen. She shouted in surprise. And the newspaper was thrown by her unconsciously. Her phone rang. She put newspaper to her ear and started, "Hello!" Then she felt the phone was still ringing. In all this situation, Troy was laughing madly at her. She quickly removed the newspaper from her ear and put the phone.
"Hello! Mom," she greeted.
"I told you thousand times not to switch off your phone," mom angrily stated.
"Actually I..." she forgot what to talk. Troy came more closer to her. He entered into the kitchen.
"What I?" Mom angrily yelled.
She was silent. After a few seconds, she broke the ice, " I'm really sorry. After dinner, I felt sleepy and I've no battery that's why..." she suddenly remembered, after thinking for a second she continued, "what is Troy doing here?"
When Troy heard this, he steamed. "Excuse me."
"Keep quiet. Speak in a faint voice, just one-day" mom recommended when she heard his voice.
"I don't want him here," Florence shouted.
"I'll live here, understand," he roared.
"I'm talking to my mom, shut up." She answered him. "I can't tolerate him, mom" she spoke.
"Please try to understand, Florence." Mom recommended.
Florence cut the call.
"That breakfast," Troy pointed out her breakfast and came closer to it.
She pushed him a little backward. "Don't you dare to touch my breakfast." She took her breakfast. He chuckled.
After a few moments of thinking, she realized Troy lied to her. He didn't tell her that he was staying with her.
"Lying is chronic to you! You can't live without lying! I shouldn't have trusted you!" Florence shouted. "I'll make you regret what you did, and never do such a rudeness anymore."
"I've never lied before," Troy tried to console.
"So you're an angel, but we don't know it? God damn it!" she added.
"I'll make his life devastating till his last breath." She thought and left the kitchen.

Florence felt the fresh breeze on her face when she stepped out of the ear. Exhausted from the work for the whole day, she felt relief in the night outside. The path was not inhibited yet. When she came out from the hotel where they attended their meeting, she walked towards the empty bench set against the fountain, ignoring the Troy who was beside her. When Troy noticed her walking towards the bench, he followed her. Sitting, She closed her eyes as the serenity in the water falling behind her and the air took over her senses.
"I thought you'd be lashing out on me," For a moment who had forgotten that this person was with her who said, "I wouldn't," and now he has taken away the little peace she felt.
"Don't be pretentious as I know you like it here," Troy said as he sat beside her on the bench. "Yeah, I'm pretentious and I might be your death as well."
"You are not less than that," Troy said.
"Will, you now tell me why you pulled me all along here when I would have been better off taking some rest?" Her anger was taking the best of her.
"Sure, give me your hand," he extended one of his hand towards her while the other went towards his pocket.
"Like hell I would," she just looked away.
"Okay, then you'll have to spend..." he tried to speak.
She cut him in the middle," Fine," she put her hand in his when he was retracting his.
He was surprised when she complied as he looked at her with a raised brow and then smiled lightly. At that moment a strange thought crossed Florence's mind that Troy might not be as bad as she sees him. In a flash, Troy took out a ring from his pocket and pushed it into her finger. She looked at him being startled.
Troy raised his both hands in the air as some kind of defence and stood up. "That's it. It's done." He said and Florence knitted her eyebrows in surprise.
"What is this?" She asked.
"Before you come at me howling, know that it wasn't my idea. I wouldn't even have bothered. Mom asked me to do it." He answered and started walking towards the car. Before Florence could finally grasp what has happened he had already started the engine.
"Hey! Wait." She flashed towards the car but it was locked. "What the hell are you doing?" She started beating the window.
"I'm sure you can get home by yourself." He flashed a smirk at her and went away leaving her at the almost empty road in the middle of the night when she didn't even have her phone or money to get back to her house. And she cursed herself dor thinking that he was nice.
