"This is a very, very, very rare case. Emilia-Rose is neither werewolf or vampire. Emilia-Rose....she's a human."

"What do you mean she's human? That's not even possible?!" I yelled.

"I'm sorry Kylie, but I don't know the answer. This only happened once. Over thousands of years ago and even then, they didn't know how it happened." Dr. Len explained.

"Can we see her?" Elijah asked as he held my hand tightly.

Dr. Len nodded and left the room. She came back a few minutes later with my baby wrapped tightly in a pink blanket. Dr. Len settled Emilia-Rose in my arms and gave my shoulder a soft squeeze before leaving the room.

Tears streamed down my face as I starred into her deep brown eyes. I looked up at Elijah and smiled.

"She looks just like you. I can already tell she's going to be a Daddy's girl." I giggled and so did everyone else in the room which included my dad, Leo, Ria, Rhys, Drea, Elijah (of course), and my little bundle of joy sleeping in my dad's arms. Kendell looks exactly like me while Emilia-Rose is a splitting image of Elijah.

"Hey Daddy's Princess. Human or not, I will always love you Darlin'." Elijah said and kissed her forehead. Emmy responed by wrapping her tiny hands around her daddy's index finger.

I love my perfect family.

The room door opened and Dr. Len came into the room holding a vase full of white roses.

"Kylie, these came from you. We don't know who from. They were just sitting on the counter with a piece of paper saying, 'For Kylie Hendrix'." Dr. Len placed the vase down on the table beside the bed and left the room.

I handed Emilia-Rose to Elijah and searched the flowers for a note or something from the giver. (A/N: Who has seen the movie The Giver? I loved it. It was totally different from the book, but it was still good.)

I found a small pink, folded rectangle and pulled it out. I unfolded it and felt my world crash.

What a beautiful daughter you have Mrs. Thomas. Human is she? It would be a shame is something happened yo that pretty face of hers.

Watch your back Kylie.

7 Years Later

"Mom! I'm going to Davey's house." A 12 year-old Ria yelled from the living room.

"Okay Sweetheart. But be home by 5 or else you won't be going to that 5SOS concert next weekend. I'm just going to have to give the tickets to Niecee and London." I smirked knowing how much she hates those girls. I don't really like them that much either, but if mentioning them in a sentence in order for her to come back home, then....

"UGH! Mom! You know how much I hate them! I'll be home before 5. Bye Mom. I love you." Ria said.

"I love you too Baby. And be safe." I yelled after her before the door closed.

"Hello Darlin'. How was your day?" My wonderful husband of 7 years asked me as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"It was the usual my Love. Cleaned, played with the twins, helped Ria clean her room again for the third time this week, and cooking dinner for my lovely family." I replied. I put down the knife I was using to cut the vegetables and turned in his arms to face him. I pecked his lips, but apparently he wanted more.

In the middle of our full blown make-out session, we heard a high-pitched scream and light footsteps running down the stairs.

"Mommy! Daddy! Some big scary dude just took Emmy." Kendell said as he tried to catch his breath.

Elijah let go of me and quickly ran up the stairs. I sunk down to the kitchen floors and cried. Kendell came over to me hugged me. My baby tried to comfort his momma, but nothing helped.

I thought this was over years ago since nothing happened.

Why me Moon Goddess? Why my baby? Why?
