Leo the walking bonfire

I laugh as I listen to Will and Nico Bickering across the tables as we eat.

Chiron had let Nico eat with Me and Percy, don't ask me why.

Percy was moping because he clearly still didn't want to admit he was out of Nico's league.

Nico had explained how he'd felt about Percy and how he'd gotten over him as we ate, He rolled his eyes every time Percy tried to chip in and make himself sound like a glorified Hercules.

Overall I think we were the loudest dinner table.

Percy was now taking me over to the campfire.

Now I must admit, I do not often sing

Totally embarrassing.

But if there are marshmallows involved, BRING IT ON PEOPLE.

"Hey Guys!" Annabeth says, walking over to Percy.

I grin "I have a question Annabeth, does Percy usually cry when his food doesn't appear blue on his plate?"

I see Percy blush, even in the dark it's visible.

"Oh Seaweed Brain" She wraps her Arms around Percy and he does the same, sticking his tongue out at me.

NAWH

LOVE IS JUST SO CUTE.

"Maybe you want a hug off Leo?" A voice states.

I can sense them wiggling their eyebrows.

A wild Leo appears at my side.

"I'll pass on that" I say.

I seat myself next to Annabeth, praying that there isn't a seat remaining next to me.

My prayers don't work.

Valdez flashes me a dorky lopsided grin, "Sorry about trying to pelt you with balloons earlier, obviously my hand slipped,"

I can't help but let out a small laugh.

"Yeah so did mine, I see you've dried off from my little slip up then?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Hm, it helps when you can set yourself on fire at will," he shrugs.

"That's a useful talent...I guess?"

"Yeah...it's kind of awkward when you burn all your clothes off," he blushes slightly.

I'm guessing he's learnt from his mistakes.

"Don't worry fire boy I'll happily extinguish you if it means I don't get burned aswell," I smile.

"Or I could just put out his fire myself," Percy mutters.

Has he been listening in?!

Ugh boys.

I let out a sigh and rest my head in my hands, this is so boring.

That's when Leo hands me a marshmallow.

Toasted with his own hands.

That's one way to please someone?

I'm just about to take a bite when his hand abruptly catches fire.

I laugh as I watch the boy blow at his fingers whilst swearing in Spanish, he kind of looks like an elf so it adds to the amusement.

"Are you okay?" I choke attempting not to giggle at his little incident.

"I liked this jacket" he groans.

By the time Leo had managed to extinguish himself,

(I can't believe I said that)

Everyone had left and Percy was looming suspiciously by the cabin door.

"we should leave, before the harpies come..." Leo says standing up and walking over to my cabin.

He then halts as he sees Percy,

"Night Leo," I laugh.

I watch him walk away towards bunker nine.

"come on, lets go inside" Percy whispers and holds the cabin door open.
