Baby!Nagito and Dad!Byakuya Scenarios

Daddy

          Byakuya sat down on the couch as he held Nagito's small body in one of his arms and a storybook on the other. The burning embers from the near fireplace served as the obly source of light in the middle of the night.

     Shortly before this scene though, Byakuya had visited Nagito's room to ensure he fell asleep right on schedule. But to his dismay, the poor boy continued to have nightmares as he clung to dear life on HB-----Atleast that's what the adult started to call the child's toy.

     Byakuya sighed, he still wasn't accustomed to taking care of Nagito. In all honesty he doesn't know if he was fit for the job in the first place, but still he chose to continue on his decision. It would only cause the child harm if he was abandoned once again like that.

     "......huh?" Nagito muttered in between sobs as one of his eyes opened, revealing the faded green orb he was gifted with in the mist of darkness. Byakuya approached the boy slowly before picking him up in a comfortable state.

     "Having trouble sleeping, Nagito?" He asked, as the drowsy boy with a face stained with tears weakly nodded. Byakuya looked down at the boy in his arms before freeing one of his hands to wipe the child's tears away, "It's okay... How about I read you a bedtime story?"

     Byakuya knew that Nagiro was probably still sleepy to understand the intent in his words. But to his surprised, he swore he saw Nagito's eyes opening wide with a newfound sparkle in them. "rwee...ly?" Nagito weakly whispered while Byakuya smiled. Moving his hand across Nagito's messy hair. "Really"

          So that takes us to the present as Byakuya told the story of a lost dog determined to find his owner in the crowded cities before finally being reunited. It was a simple story, but Nagito found hope and comfort in those words of "The End". Like the boy and dog's story isn't truly finished, and they only found peace and their true home in the mist of despair and problems.

     "......nice" Nagito said, as he rested his head on Byakuya's shoulder. But to his surprise, the adult had fallen asleep. Nagito pouted tiredly before flicking his finger on the adult's forehead. Rudely startling and pulling out Byakuya from his sleep.

     "what in the---" Byakuya shouted before his eyes landed on the sleepy Nagito, "oh, Nagito. It's just you" Byakuya sighed as Nagito nodded again. The boy nuzzled his head on Byakuya's chest as his small arms tried to wrap around him, "thank you..... daddy" Nagito mumbled, before finally falling asleep.
