Chapter 8

We were close to his house when it started pouring water. We had to run the rest of the way.

When we entered the house I was shivering.

"Mom?... Mom? I'm home" Alex yelled  he walked over to the kitchen where there was a note.

Alex I had to cover for a friend at work I won't be back until tomorrow night. Take care and please Dont get in trouble.
                        Love, mom

He read out loud.

"Well it looks like we have the house to ourselves" Alex said "Come. I'll give some dry clothes."

I just followed him upstairs to his room. It was when I entered his room I realized how compromising this was. Me going to his house... His mom wasn't home... I was in his room.

"Here" he said handing me a pair of sweats and a muscle shirt.

"Thanks" I mumbled

Um where is his bathroom? I saw him going to a closed door so I followed. He opened the door and there was the bathroom. I quickly changed. I had to leave my bra off because it was drenched in water.

I stepped outside standing awkwardly by the door.

"You can sleep in the bed I'll sleep on the floor." He said as another thunder broke.

"Umm... Can you... Umm... Can you sleep up here with me?... You Dont have to... Its just that I'm afraid of thunderstorms." I ranted.

"Yeah sure" he said climbing back on the bed.

He hugged me awkwardly, and I snuggled closer to him.

"This is awkward" he mumbled

"It won't be awkward if you Dont make it awkward" I whispered back.

"No this is really awkward because I'm hugging you and you Dont have a bra on" he said

Then it hit me. He was right. His hand was dangerously close the my boobs. I saw him grab a hold of the bed sheets... I guess it was a way for him to resist grabbing them.

I ignored his comment and snuggled closer to him. I Dont know why I did it it was just an impulse.

"Umm... Can you not get any closer?" He mumbled

"Wh-"

"Oh shit" I shouted and hugged him like my life depended on it.

"Ohh, there goes not getting any closer" he mumbled to him self.

"Sorry I'm just really scared of thunderstorms" I explained still not letting him go.

"Oh my God" I almost shouted and snuggled closer to him.

"This is going to be a long night" Alex said and tightened his grip around me.
