Silence.
Elias closes the door behind him quietly and walks further into his room, he calls out his name again more worried.
"Luca, are you still here?"
Still nothing. He begins to question if it was all some crazy hallucination, it couldn't have been, right?
He goes to his phone checking his game to see if he can figure out what happened. Just as he clicks though, a flash of light slighty blinds him before Luca appears once more in front of him. What the hell is even going on anymore?
"I see you're back from your shower," he smiles. Elias expression of pure confusion softens as if in relief but then suddenly snaps back.
"Where were you? I thought I'd lost my mind for second, thinking it wasn't even real. I told you to stay right there!" He yells pointing to his bed. He couldn't calm down his nervous heart, confused to if he was angry or scared that he'd lost him already.
Luca doesn't say anything and only looks down with a pained expression, "I'm sorry Elias, I didn't mean to disappoint you. It was only instinct for me to leave for a minute, just untill you came back of course. I have no reason to be here if you're not around."
Elias sighs running his hands through his hair. He looks like a goddamn puppy, he thinks while, yet again, regretting his harsh words. He apologizes, "No, I'm sorry Luca. I was just confused and worried that you wouldn't return I guess. I'm not mad..just, let me know beforehand please." He walks closer to lift up Luca's face, and give him a small grin. "Cheer up okay? You're making me feel like the bad guy here."
Luca nods and goes to reach for Elias but stops himself. "Can..can I hug you again?" He mumbles looking flushed. Elias couldn't help but chuckle a bit before replying,
"If it makes you happy I guess," he raises himself on his feet to wrap his arms around his neck and Luca slides his arms around Elias' waist.Taking in each other's compassion, Luca sinks his head into Elias' shoulder making him flinch as he nuzzles his head. "You smell really nice Elias," he says against his neck making Elias' heart pound into his throat from his comment.
"D-don't say embarrassing things like that," he stammers going to push him away but Luca only clings tighter.
"Sorry, just a bit longer..please" He says quietly and Elias calms down in his grasp. He couldn't help but wonder why Luca was so desperate for something like this, but decided to comply. Well, until they both hear a gentle knock on the door.
"Eli, are you gonna braid my hair now? It's almost time to go," Vivians voice muffles through the door.
Elias curses to himself not realizing the time that had passed already. He pulls himself away from Luca's comfort and began to pace around the room gathering his items and thinking out loud.
"Y-yes Viv, I'll be right out," he calls to his sister while tying half of his hair back. Luca decides to sit down on the bed watching Elias in patience.
He cleans his glasses while talking, "Uhh Luca, I don't know how you're suppose to get through the day with me if no one knows who you are."
"That won't be a problem, well at school at least," Luca answers.
Elias pauses in his place, "What do you mean 'at school'?..wait, did my game or whatever enroll you at my school?!" Luca nods his head.
I'm gonna lose it, Elias thought to himself. He was mainly wondering why he didn't tell him earlier but now he's worried on how he's gonna get Luca on the bus with him. While on that thought however, they both hear the door click open.
