First period Physics, a class never hated by Elias but not quite there for him to care much about it. He sits in the near back still center of the classroom, dozing off. He was confident enough in his knowledge to allow himself to sleep for a bit more and he could always review the PowerPoint on his computer. The bell rings shaking Elias out of his short nap and he catches Leia in the hall coming from her previous class.
"How was physics?" She asks.
"The usual," he answers yawning.
She sighs smiling at him, "You needa start going to bed sooner." They turn the corner getting closer to their shared second class. "Ya, ya. I know, my phone is probably broken anyways," he says. They reach their classroom and head inside sitting at the front left placed desks. Leia sits right in front of Elias and now that he's has a bit more rest, he can handle staying awake for this period.

Lunchtime has rolled around and the two sit at their usual spot along with their other friends Michael, Ash, and Brooklyn. The school's food was described to be 'bland trash', Leia likes to put it, so Elias would usually wait till he was home to eat and distract his lingering hunger by chatting away with his friends and checking his phone.
Still a blank screen, huh? Elias couldn't help but feel a little helpless staring at his dark screen reflecting his bleak expression. Ash bumps his shoulder, her short black hair swaying and bright green eyes curious, "Are you alright?" Her features soften seeing how down he was. He shrugs nodding, giving her a small smile and says maybe tomorrow will be a little better. It was Monday after all, the day everyone had a reason to feel down and out of it. The bell sounds, so they wave each other till later and head to their previous class.
Elias was looking forward to taking another nap, seeing as this was only a free period to study and or catch up on work. However, his plans came to a pause as he sees a familiar figure come into view. Dammit.
Just look forward, don't make any eye contact, he told himself, this was nothing new for him, of course. His 'school bully' is an obvious name for this person in particular but Elias only curses at him.
Dammed Evan.
This over achiever who received top scores, plays football, and has what many call, 'the good money,' found every reason in the book to pick and poke at Elias for his 'feminine looks' and quiet behavior, Evan liked to call it. It seems he wasn't going to miss this chance either and starts to walk towards Elias from the opposite side of the hall.
Elias doesn't even panic, well not like he use to at least. He slows his pace to a halt and leans against a random locker. Might as well get it over with, he thought sighing to himself. Yet another reason to wish the day was already over. Evan steps up to him putting a hand against one side of his head caging him in. By now most of the students have either gone to hang out somewhere or went to class. "Hey there, Eli" he hums, going to touch Elias' hair already ticking him off. He always seemed to have a thing for his hair apparently.
"What do you want now, oh dear Evan," Elias retorts back flatly, shoving his hand away so he has more space. Evan looks amused but doesn't say anything waiting to see what he'll do next, but when Elias tries to leave, he grabs his arm and pushes him against the lockers make him gasp out.
"What, the fuck do you want Evan?" He glares, his patience running very thin.
This is what Evan loved about Elias. Despite his nature, he found him quite entertaining to tease just for the reaction. He doesn't suck up to him like everyone else and bites back with a cold look in his eyes.
"You know what I want baby," he whispers removing his tight grip from Elias' arm and brings his hand to his face. Elias shudders from displeasure and as he began to lean in, he musters up all he has to force him away making him stumble back.
"Fuck off you bastard! You make me sick!" Elias roars from not taking it anymore. He then hurries to his safe haven of a classroom away from his incredibly pressuring ex and slumps down into his chair.
"Love you too," He chuckles to himself just before he's out of his sight. Putting his hands back in his pockets, he goes to his free period.

The bell rings at last, releasing everyone from school. Elias immediately stands up straight and swings his bag over his shoulder to quickly head out the classroom. The halls are packed with students only moments later, he tries to get around the many crowds standing in the way making conversations, but he feels like he can't wait to get home anymore sooner. So he continued occasionally shoving people out of the way if they didn't have the brain cells to know when to move out of incoming traffic. Most were silent but some didn't exactly appreciate being pushed to the side, calling out threats and accusations to who ever did it.
But that's where the crowded halls actually come into play, no one knows who pushed who, because no one can see you clearly.
Elias dashes to the wait outside for his bus and catches sight of Leia, he breathes a sigh of relief and heads towards her. The hot sun was beating down on them enough to move them into the shade and Leia ties her patterned bomber jacket around her waist.
"Today just wasn't it, huh?" She questioned taking notice to how drained Elias looked. It still worries her but she knows that he's been this way since the start of high school. He suddenly changed and it seems that it's hard for him to give a genuine smile while he's here. They grew up together from preschool and she's always had to fight off whatever little shits came to mess with him, she was proud of that.
"I'm just tired is all," he trails off. "I'm sure tomorrow will be better though..I hope," he laughs faintly. Leia smiles at him and puts an arm over his shoulder. "Good!" She answers, "Cause who else is gonna help me complete this homework," she laughs making him do the same. The bus rolls in and they both walk towards it to hop on.
"Nah, I'm kidding. Just make sure to get your phone fixed soon, I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons why you're making this face," she tries to mimic his expression, squishing her face in several directions.
"Pfft, I don't look like that at all! Stop before you get wrinkles," He snickers poking his finger at her crinkled forehead.
They take a seat in their usual spot, laughing and chatting away the whole drive. This cheered up Elias quite a bit and he can't help but feel thankful everyday that he has her by her side to do that. He waves saying see you later once at her stop and waits patiently for his, which happens to be the next one.
Elias hops off thanking the bus driver and walks the short distance home, he doesn't even bother pulling out his phone because of how many times he's already tried to check it at school. He also took into mind what his little sister said this morning, smiling remembering her words.
Unlocking the door he can already hear little steps running towards him. He opens to see Vivian already dressed to comfort out of uniform and hair bouncing freely.
"Eli!!" She exclaims going to hug her brother. Elias smiles warmly and picks her up.
"I'm home, Viv."
