Straight Out Of a Sketch: Cat Noir x Artist! Reader

Cat Noir POV

This girl really had a knack for getting into trouble with akumas, didn't she. Then again nothing good ever comes out of visiting the park often in Paris. Especially at night.

The girl I'm talking about is my crush y/n. She loved to draw and would come to the park because it helps her when she's upset.  We would arrange to meet up at the park at night because that's when I'm available. I should have guessed that would be dangerous.

I don't know exactly what happened, but judging by the dropped sketchpad with an almost finished picture of me (which looked amazing like all her art), and the fact that there is an akuma on loose, I can guess she was kidnapped.

By her best friend.

Y/n POV

I'm sitting here on a boat watching Nath (or Evillustrator) draw some beautiful scenery. This would be kind of nice, if he didn't freaking kidnap me! How did this happen. Oh wait I remember.

Flashback

I'm sitting on the park finishing a sketch of Cat Noir. I start doodling some hearts around the picture, because... well I think it's obvious. I'm stopped by my sketchpad being forced out of hands from behind. I gasped and jump because I didn't hear anyone coming. I turn to see who it is. It's Nathaniel! Except he looks different. OMG he was akumatized!! And he looks angry. I glared at the drawing and turned back to me.

"Why him. Why not me!" he roared.

"What do mean," I whimpered as I cowered. I've never seen him like this. It's kind of scary.

"Why do you love him and not me! I'm so much better than some dumb superhero who you don't even know. What does he have that I don't?"

I was shaking at this point. "Nath, I don't-" He cut me off by dropping the sketch pad and lifting me up.

"Whatever. I'll show you why you should be in love with me." He took off with his jetpack and me screaming in his arms.

Flashback End

So here I am. I've stayed silent in fear of angering Nath- I mean Evillustrator. I watched him as he drew some actually really nice scenery on the boat. You know this would be a very nice way to spend my best friend's birthday. IF HE DIDN'T FREAKING KIDNAP ME!!!!!!! This is all Chloe's fault. If only she could keep her freakish nose out of others people's business. Evillustrator turned to me with a soft smile. For a second I saw the real Nath in his eyes.

"Do you like it, love?" That statement made all my fear re-enter my body. This isn't Nath, this is a villain under Hawkmoth's control. All he wanted was for me to love him. But I can't do that. I'm in love with Cat Noir. All the warmth in his face melted into anger. "Well! Answer me!" 

Before the whimper could escape my lips a metal rod jammed itself between Evillustrator and myself. We both turned to see Cat Noir and Ladybug!

"You know Evillustrator, kidnapping and scaring a girl isn't the best way to make her fall in love with you," Chat informed him. Evillustrator clearly recognised him from my drawing.

"Easy to say when you're the one she's in love with." I squeaked, not expecting to be called out like that. "I'll just get rid of you, then take your Miraculous. Then I'll have y/n to myself, and Hawkmoth will get the miraculous."

Chat smirked. "Bring it on sketch boy."

As Evillustrator lunged at Chat, Ladybug approached me and wrapped an arm around my waist. She told me to hang on tight before whizzing away with her yo-yo and me in tow. 

Time Skip because I didn't want to write out the rest of this fight and I am desperate to finish this.

I sighed while staring out of my window. This night was, not what I hoped. My best friend became evil, my crush found out that I liked him, and I lost one of my better drawings. I turned away from the window, ready to sleep my sorrows away, when a knock caught my attention. I gasped when I saw Chat and his cheeky smile. I practically threw the window open in shock of him being here.

"Hey y/n. Tonight was crazy wasn't it?"

"Yeah," I mumbled as I played with the hem of my shirt. I course I was nervous! He knows I like him.

"You know y/n....... A little birdie told me that you like me." I froze.

"N-no. Why w-would you think that?" I stuttered. Stop it y/n! You're making it so obvious.

"Oh really?" He remarked while pulling one of my sketchbooks of my desk. I mentally panicked. 'no not that sketchbook'. Chat chuckled as he flipped through the pages of the sketchbook. He then turned the book to me, on a page with one of many doodles of him with hearts surrounding him. 

"You don't like me hmmm?"

My face was redder than a tomato. "I- umm." God, I might as well admit it and this point. 'Yes, I like you. I like you a lot. It's just that you have no reason to like me back. Especially when you know other superheroes and they're so much prettier than me-" I felt tears burn at my eyes and I just let them flow. The whole thing was so overwhelming. Honestly after today I wish I could sleep forever.

Chat noticed my tears, and his eyes widened in panic. He quickly made his way over to me a scooped me up in a hug. 

"I'm sorry y/n. I didn't mean to make you cry. The truth is I like you a lot. You're the most amazing, talented girl I've ever met. And that's even without super powers. If you not mad at me, would you consider being my girlfriend?"

I sniffled as I looked up to him in awe. 'He likes me back!' I nodded feverishly. "Yes! I'll be you're girlfriend!"

He smiled and leaned in. "May I?" he asked softly. I nodded, and we both closed our eyes and leaned in.

Our lips connected in the perfect kiss. So soft and full bliss. We broke apart, looked each other in the eyes, and smiled. It looked like something right out of a sketch.
