Jesse is the kind of guy who'd put a spoiler on his granny's Honda Civic. He lives life passionately and freely, surrounding himself with people who live the same; to live free is to live at all, and any who try to restrain him vilify themselves in his eyes. Self-centered and egotistical, he lacks a fundamental understanding of the consequences of his actions. He wants to create comic books, like the graphic novels that've inspired him since his youth, but he lacks the skill or diligence to truly pursue this career path. With their son jobless and ambitionless, his entrepreneurial parents grudgingly support his finances, but they don't support his wild nightlife.
Catherine puts the right effort into the wrong places. Caught between a creative passion and a reliable career, she has learned to shut out her feelings in favor of logic and reason. A disaster in every right, her mental health remains questionable at best, but despite her troubles, her creativity and enthusiasm for stories is unrivaled. Though few know her, she listens, looks, and thinks deeply into the world around her, and applies this same awareness to herself.
