Jaime Reyes One Shots

Snowed In

     Jaime and I were sitting on the couch of our cabin, our little white kitten, Snowflake, curled up on my lap, we had the fire going and we were bundled up in blankets and sipping on hot chocolate when Jaime got a call from Nightwing, he picked up and answered.
   "Hey Nightwing.... Uhh, we may not be able to get there.... Well, we went out to our cabin to spend the weekend away for a bit, but then a blizzard came in. I don't think that we'll be able to get to any zeta tubes..... No I don't think we could even get out the door! If we can get out and get to you by tomorrow we will, but I don't think we're going anywhere for at least two days.... Si, I'll call you if anything changes or if we need help, gracias Nightwing... Yes I'll let (Y/N) know... Goodbye Nightwing." Jaime hung up then and kinda huffed as he put his phone away, I laughed at my boyfriends sulking face before taking a sip from my mug.
      "What was he calling for?" Jaime looked at me before sighing and exasperatedly running a hand down his face.
    "He was asking if you and I would be able to go help them with an interrogation, when I told him that we had a blizzard come in he thought I meant a little snowstorm, not a full blown, you-aren't-going-anywhere-Christmas-Blizzard!" I laughed at Jaime saying that and shook my head before pulling him down and nestling into him, he wrapped an arm around me and pulled me into his chest. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his heartbeat. Jaime sighed as he pulled me closer to him. I hummed and closed my eyes, I felt myself starting to fall asleep, Jaime shifted us around so that he was laying on his back and I was laying on top of him, he placed a kiss on the top of my head before telling me to get some rest. I listened and allowed myself to succumb to the arms of sleep.

    "Mi amor, wake up. We need to make something for dinner." I groaned and buried my face into Jaime's neck and nestled closer to him. Jaime chuckled and tried shifting us to a sitting position but I refused to move.
   "Mmmmm.... You're warm..." Jaime laughed and started placing kisses all over my face, I giggled and tried to hide my face from him, it was flaring up and turning a bright cherry red.
   "You're so cute when you're half asleep like this cariño...." He brushed some of my hair back and pressed a slow and lazy kiss against my lips, I hummed and kissed him back. We pulled away and I huffed before pushing myself off Jaime and walking into the kitchen, Snowflake meowed at us and followed me into the kitchen, Jaime stood up and walked over, leaning against the door frame. I started moving around the kitchen and started gathering ingredients to make us dinner. After awhile of silence in the kitchen I heard Jaime move over and wrap his arms around me from behind, I leaned back into his embrace and looked out the window, I smiled as I watched the snow fall, Jaime looked out too and also smiled before squeezing me a little tighter. I smiled up at him before carefully removing myself from his grasp to continue cooking, Jaime pouted and tried to reach out for me, I carefully avoided his grasp as I continued moving around and making our dinner. I had finally finished making dinner when Jaime once again wrapped me up in his arms, I laughed at him before pressing a kiss to his cheek and trying to get him to eat dinner. Jaime huffed before sitting down with me, I grinned and happily ate dinner with him, we chatted for a little bit as we ate, when we finished Jaime took the dishes and washed them. I smiled and sat on the counter and continued chatting with him, he turned and faced me, coming to stand between my legs as I sat perched up on the counter. I smiled down at him as he wrapped his arms around my waist, he smiled at me before resting his forehead against mine. We stayed there in silence for awhile longer before we decided to go get ready for bed.
   Jaime and I walked to the bedroom and got changed before we climbed into bed, Jaime wrapped his arm around my waist as he pulled me close before we both slipped into sleep. Being snowed in and missing our missions, having an entire weekend to ourselves, I think I can get behind that idea.
