Chapter 13

'What the-' my thoughts got cut short as I felt someone pick me up from behind. I squealed quietly before being sat down. I spun around to see the one and only Fred Weasley. I looked at him, playfully glaring him for scaring me. "Was that really necessary?" I asked lightly slapping his chest. "Where were you? I got so worried. They made everyone go immediately to the dorms after dinner and then the teachers rushed out of the room and then I didnt see you anywhere and I waited up for you in the common room. I was so scared, Caden" he said quickly before pulling me into one of his strong hugs and buried his head in the crook of my neck. "You waited up for me?" I asked him shocked. I had never known anyone who had done that before. "Well of course I waited for you. I couldn't stand the thought of you being in danger again. I missed you terribly, Caden. I got so scared! Please dont do that again!" He said, slightly upset.

"Ahem" I heard someone clear their throat behind me  I pulled away from the hug, turning to see my dad and Harry. I ran and gave them both a big hug. "Freddie, this is my father. Dad, this is Fred, my boyfriend that I told you about" I said while walking up to Freddie, holding his hand in mine. he said whilst holding his hand out for my dad to shake. My dad pushed past his hand and gave him a fatherly hug and said, "Thank you for keeping my baby girl happy. She really thinks the world of you and I couldn't be happier that its you" they both smiled at each other and I walked over to Harry. "So, turns out I'm gonna come live with you and Sirius now. I'm really excited" he said with a huge smile. I looked between him and dad and Freddie and just thought of how lucky I was to have these guys in my life. "We have our own little family now, huh?" I said with a grin. I put an arm around Harry as we joined the conversation, basking in the fact that we aren't alone. Never alone anymore.
