Chapter 14

It's been a while since school ended and right now Harry and I are chilling in my room at home. Since dads name was cleared, we got move in with him and Remus comes and visits every once in a while. We were talking about the Quidditch World Cup that we would be attending with the Weasleys. "I'm definitely pulling for the Irish" Harry said with a smile, "No matter how good Krum is" I giggled. I agreed and we started talking about Ron's infatuation with the Bulgarian seeker. In the middle of one of our laughing fits I heard someone knock on the door. I stood up and ran down the stairs to see dad welcoming Freddie and Ron inside. *CRASH* "ouch! I'm okay!" I yelled as I picked myself up off the stairs. I sent a playful glare at the redheads for giggling at me. "Thanks for the help everyone" I said with as much sass as I could muster while hugging Fred tightly. I could feel him smile against my shoulder.

After everyone talked for a little bit, Fred and I went out to the backyard where the garden, that I had spent most of my childhood in, was located. I led Fred to a secret little cove and sat under the fairy lights on the soft blankets. I hadn't realized but I had started singing a song that I absolutely loved called Sunrise (from In The Heights I'm starting a little later but I recommend the whole song)

F: well how do you say kiss me?

We finished it looking at each other smiling. He grabbed me and pulled me close to his chest. "I didnt know you could sing, Fred." I said quite shocked. "Only for you" he said with a slight laugh, "None of my family even knows that I sing. I guess I've never really cared to show it off" he finished staring off into space. I just smiled and snuggled closer to him on the blanket, "Prometeme, that you will sing more often. Even if it is just around me" I looked up at him to see him gazing into my eyes. He nodded and leaned down to kiss me when all of a sudden we heard a crash come from the house. I shot up out of fear and ran towards the house with Fred right on my heels.

Once inside, I ran to the kitchen after hearing all the yelling. I pulled my wand out only to see Harry, Ron and dad all on the floor laughing with dishes and soapy water all around them. "What am I looking at?" I asked them with a smirk on my face. They looked at me and Harry couldnt breathe. I helped him up while dad explained that they were trying to wash dishes and they had left the water running and they tried to turn it off but kept slipping and falling. "Good grief, I leave the house for not an hour and you've already made a mess dad" I laughed. We all enjoyed the moment and eventually had dinner and rested.

I was laying on my bed with Fred just enjoying each others company. "Hey, I didnt ask earlier but what does 'prometeme' mean?" He asked glancing down at me. "It means promise me. I was basically asking you to just be more open with that part of you around me" I said grinning. He looked down at me with so much love in his eyes. I dont know what I'd do without him honestly. "I promise to sing more and to never leave you. Especially when you need me most. I love you, Caden Black. Forever and always" he said smiling and holding me close to him. "Para Siempre" I sighed just before drifting into a state of peaceful dreaming until the morning.
