We ran.
We ran alot.
Harry and I had ran through the town, even though I didn't find its worth.
Whatever had been so wrong had been taken care of by police hopefully...
But we did not stop.
After the buildings started fading away, and trees became heavier, we found a path. And our running legs slowed to ones that only carried us swiftly.
"Harry.."
I said, struggling to fill my lungs again with air.
"Why didn't we go home?"
I asked, looking at his sweaty figure.
His dark hair stuck to the back of his neck, and his face shined in the late afternoon light.
For the first time in what felt like forever, his hand unlatched from mine. And he took it and run it through his hair, and then rubbed his temples
"I.. Uh. Umm.... Uh."
The words fell from his mouth, as he looked around the area. He obviously was over-whelmed.
His fingers moved faster, rubbing quicker circles into his forehead.
"Harry why didn't we go home?"
I said, reaching out and grabbing his bicep, trying to calm him as he continue beathing heavily and looking around.
Around us was the more forested part of our town. A long dirt trail had been created ages ago, and if you traveled about a half a mile down, small houses would appear. A lot of older folk lived there. But the area wasn't one of much excitement. The trees were dense and nature was all around. Any sound of panic was inaudible, other then Harry's breathing.
But with my touch his head stopped and looked down at his feet, while he swallowed loudly.
"I.. I didn't.. Uh... Don't think we are safe at our residence."
He muttered, turning and facing me, though not making any eye contact. His eyebrows were still creased and he jaw was clenched.
"Why... Wouldn't it be uh safe?"
I questioned
"What even happened?!"
I think back to the gun shot. All i know was the noise and the horror. But what had even happen?
"See Aurora.. I don't can't just tell you all that I know..."
He bit his lip, starting to look around again.
"Harry!"
I called for his attention.
What the hell was going on.
He started pacing back and forth infront of me.
"Aurora..."
He said, with the stress lacing in with his voice.
He personality was none like I had seen from him ever before. He obviously was conflicted amd wrecked and he didn't even seem like he could control his mind right now.
"God. Fuck."
Harry said, continuing his walking.
"I can't tell you everything. That.. That just wouldn't be wise. And.. Its too much.. I can't right now. But I.... Awh fuck. I just...."
He rambled, not looking me in the eyes.
"I just... Fuck... I can tell you what happened. But why.. Like I know why it happened.... I just don't think it'd be smart to tell you... Like i.. FUCK.
Harry stopped now, digging his hands into his pockets and raising his head.
"Fuck there is so much to tell you."
I stepped foward, trying to find a way to calm him.
"Harry.. Whats going on?"
I asked, leaning closer and lowering my voice.
"Im fucking scared. Fuck. I'm so scared."
He let out a sigh, and his shoulders fell. His eyes did as well.
He let out a few long breaths and looked back up at me.
"I can tell you what happened... I just need privacy to do so.."
"Okay.."
I start, finally being able to look in his eyes.
"Lets find somewhere private."
