You're probably thinking, this girl is too obsessed with finding love.
"Honestly, I'm not a romantic. But, I know the heart isn't just for pumping blood." I saw a quote something like this on Pinterest and that's all I can reason with.
I've never had a boyfriend before. Duhhh. What's the point of this is you had?
Nor a boy best friend. I got along with my guy classmates just fine, but I was never confident and assured to open to them about stuff.
Then I had three.
Hades and I found out we lived in the same block, he goes home by the same route of transportation that I do. While walking to the bus station, I spotted him and impulsively tapped his backpack and said hello.
The look of surprise and sheer panic on his face! As if he didn't expected someone from school to pop out of nowhere and talk to him. We walked alongside, went in line the bus together. He was reserved and spoke clipped replies the whole time; which was odd.
At school, he radiates this big d*ck energy. It stunned me how he could be anything but. Like a facade slipped for a split second. That was the start of a (chaotic) beautiful friendship. And being on the friend zone, as usual, no surprise.
Dash is a bookworm. He has this air to him that pulls a person's attention, with the way he talks, his body language, and everything. He's frank with me if I'm wrong, and he helps me when I need it. He's like my older brother. One time, Lara Kesh joked that she'd kill me if I messed up her assignment, and Dash heroically stepped in between us and went, "Try doing that." They'll 'protect' me. If she does anything, Flynn, Hades and him will beat her up. I rolled my eyes and we all laughed.
My thoughts were, 'Thanks. I'll protect myself. But it's good to hear that you guys have my back, even when they were just goofing around because I got your backs, too.' Not literally.
Flynn was the geekiest guy I've ever met, minus the glasses and other stereotypes. Where do I even begin with the fandoms he's in! Marvel, Anime, LOTR, anything medieval fantasy. He's the Hi, Welcome to Chili's Guy because if you wanted to get started on Pop Culture reference lessons, you go to him.
And there was me, the last member of the Three Idiots + 1 Squadro. Can I just rant here about college because it's stressing me out. So by Tuesday, I'll have to start reviewing for College Entrance Tests because ya girl is bonkers stupid, and plus my mom and dad are haranguing me about it since last month.
I don't know what my future will be. Will I be the next Elon Musk? Highly unlikely. Will I be the Doctor's new companion? Yes, please, I hope so. You can crash at my backyard anytime, Doctor.
Seriously, I don't know what I want. But I do know it's something that hasn't been done in our family tree. Like a medical doctor. Sigh. Wish me luck, everyone.
Adios mio.
