Khodi pulls into the school parking lot laughing with Kate. They get out and walk inside to meet with lee and Clyde maples. Kate sees them and runs a head quickly to talk with them. Khodi shakes his head and laughs.
Khodi could already feel started coming his way. He had gotten use to it pretty quickly after he changed his name. He quickens his paste and meets with lee, Clyde, and Kate.
"Hey guys. What's up?" Khodi asks joining the conversation.
"Not much. We were talking about our class." Lee replies with a simple smile. Khodi nods, the group can here small comments being made about Khodi but before anything can happen the bell rings dispersing the group.
Khodi enters his English class and sits quietly waiting for it to start. A couple kids nudge his chair as they walk by.
"Hey Sophie, can you give me the answers from the homework?" A guys asks laughing. A couple others laugh as well.
"Sorry, I don't know a Sophie, my name is Khodi." Khodi reply's without looking forwards. The second bell rings and class starts as usual.
English goes as usual, a couple comments here and there but nothing Khodi wasn't use to. After the bell rings he walks towards his locker to meet with Kate again.
"Hey Khodi, how was english? Those asswholes mess with you again." Kate asks slightly angrily. Khodi shakes his head.
"Yeah but it's fine. It's nothing I can't handle." She smiles. Kate growls angrily.
"I swear if I see them I'll" she starts but is cut off.
"You will do nothing." Lee interrupts. Lee has always been the one that stops Kate from fighting. She is what's known as the mom friend.
The bell rings again and the group disperses with a few goodbyes.
