Dysomina POV

A feeling of dread overwhelmed my body as Chris explained today's challenge. 'T'nod og ot eht dnalsi!' A voice in my head says. Each second getting louder and louder. 'T'nod og ot eht dnalsi!' 'T'nod og ot eht dnalsi!' T'NOD OG OT EHT DNALSI!' (If you're stuck, the words are just spelled backwards!)

I let out a loud groan as I grabbed my head in pain. My head feels like it's pounding against my skull. 'Don't. Go. To. The. Island.' The voice yells. I'm snappend out of my thoughts by Duncan, who seemed extremely worried and concerned. "Are you okay babe..?" He asked, holding me by my waist. "Y-yeah, just feeling a bit seasick is all.." I answered, getting onto the boat with him and Harold. Harold kept on eyeing me in my short-ish dress which is making me feel a bit odd. 'Push him out the boat.' The voice from earlier says. That wouldn't be such a bad idea...Wait what?! Where did THAT thought come from?

"Aye! Quit lookin' at my girl like that four eyes, or you'll need more than those glasses to see straight when I'm done with ya!" Duncan threatens. I shake my head to untangle myself from my thoughts. Once we get to the island, Duncan gets out first to help me out. He offers me his hand and I take it and kiss his neck softly, which is the only spot I can reach on him since I'm not wearing my heels. About 30 minutes in and we made it through the island and made a fire. Harold idiotically burned our oars and izzy made a fire starter. "Stand back everyone..." Izzy warned. She then threw the ball into the fire and it caused a huge explosion. The explosion triggered something in me...

No one POV

'What's wrong with Dysomina...?' Everyone thought. Her eyes started to fade in color, leaving only a pale red-ish color. Her eyes lost her spark, like her soul had just died and left in front of us. She then backed away from everyone and stood there making a shocked expression. Staring at the fire.

Dysomina POV

Flashback

The 'pool water' smelled of bleach and other chemicals mixed together along with looking like a milky kind of colored red inside. "The color and smell is because of the chlorine in the water honey! It's perfectly safe.." My mother reassured me. I climbed up onto the high dive, took a deep breath, and jumped in.
