It was a normal weekend at hogwarts, well not for Draco Malfoy. He had to spend his whole year stressing about this shitty portal cabinet to keep himself alive and he also has to kill one of the most powerful wizard Dumbledore.
Draco did his morning routine same as always, taking a bath, get change and tame his hair. He walked through the great hall and eat breakfast then walked his way to the room of requirements.
He bumped into a certain Griffindor girl with strawberry blonde hair. "D-digg-ory" He stuttered and stared with her in fear. "Since when did the slytherin primce stutter" Elizabeth shot him her famous Griffindor smile but he could tell it's fake.
"Mind if I tag along?" Something was off about this Diggory girl, but Draco unexpectedly nodded allowing her to skipped to his side. "What are you doing here at a weekend? I often see you at hogsmead with that girl Pansy and Blaise last year." Draco had to made up a reason for the Diggory girl to believe that he isn't up to something. "Hogsmead trips isn't just my thing." Elizabeth just nodded at his answer.
"Well since you're alone here, do you want to go for a walk near the black lake?" Elizabeth asked. "If Potter isn't coming then I'll come, it's just... you're always with the trio" Elizabeth snickered "Oh he isn't coming. I have walked alone during nights under the stars and the moon. So, Walk with me?" Draco feels different about this girl, it seems like he can't control himself whenever he is around her. This started at the yule ball when they were 14.
💚❤️ "I'm sorry about... you know, Cedric" Draco didn't have any topic to talk to her, he always wanted to start a conversation but ends up stuttering. But bringing Cedric up just made him feel sorry about the girl. "It's been hard without him, but I managed" Elizabeth let out a chuckle as they continue walking.
"Malfoy?" Draco stopped and payed attention to the girl "hmm?". "You seem to act strange this year, is there anything wrong at all?" Then Draco remembered everything, buying the cabinet, having the mark, being a death eater. "I'm fine" Elizabeth let out two lollipops that she bought at honeydukes and offered one to Malfoy.
"What is this?" Draco held the lollipop "It's yours already, eat it" Draco ripped out the wrapper and ate the green apple flavored lollipop. He suddenly felt different, It's like he dosen't want this morning walk with Diggory end, but then suddenly he remembered The cabinet
"I have to go" Draco ran but stopped halfway through the entrance of hogwarts. He walked towards Elizabeth and cupped her face. Without hesitation he brushed his lips against Elizabeth and wrapped his arms around her. He suddenly realized what he was doing and pulled away running.
