Chapter Two

*Alex's POV*

I woke up very late this morning. It was 12:45. I got up and my head hurt a lot. And I fell asleep on the floor in my kitchen? I looked around. My house was a mess. There was trash every where. That party was crazy last night. I walked into my living room, Connor was on the couch, Katie was halfway on the other couch and Jackie was sleeping with a guy that looked familiar, I just couldn't rememer who. She was only in her bra and some of my sport shorts. I guess that guy got lucky last night. I laughed to myself seeing this sight. I looked over at Connor, who was sleeping so peacefully. I ran over to that couch and jumped on him. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. When he saw me, he smiled. "Goodmorning beautiful." he said to me. "Goodmorning handsome" I responded while leaning down to give him a kiss. It quickly turned into more than a kiss though. It turned into a heated makeout session. Just as he was taking off his shirt to reveal his gorgeous six pack, Katie screamed "Get a room, love birds!"

I started to laugh and Connor let go of his shirt and smiled. I climbed off of Connor to wake up Jackie and her mystery man. I started to shake her but all she did was groan and pull the blanket over her head. I jumped on her and screamed "Wake up!!" After that she woke up and noticed what she was wearing. She quickly grabbed the blanket, wrapped herself up and ran to my room. While running she forgot about the guy on the floor with her and she tripped over him and woke him up. I started laughing really hard.

The guy got up and rubbed his eyes. Then looked around the room. He saw all of us and gave us a weird look.

"Um excuse me, but who are you?" I asked, hoping that didn't sound rude.

"I'm Derek" he said.

"Oh are you the one that was in my math class during the school year?" I asked.

"Yeah, you're Alex, right?"

"Yeah, that's me!" I smiled.

After our short conversation, Jackie came back down with a tank top on. And sat in Derek's lap and kissed him.

"Is there something we missed?" I asked Jackie making a smirking face.

"Um, well yeah there is." Jackie laughed. "Derek and I are dating" she smiled.

"How did you guys meet?" Katie asked.

"Well, we met at a party that we were both invited to, met there, and exchanged numbers. We have been talking ever since, but we just made it official last night."

"Darn it! Now I am the only single one in this friendship!" Katie said.

We all laughed. Then I spoke up saying "We can change that. I heard there was a new boy on the street. I said smirking at her.

"Eh it's fine, I kind of like being single. More freedom." she responded.

"Okay" I said laughing. "Alright, who wants to clean!?" I said cheerful, but sarcastic.

Everyone groaned but got up to help. I gave everyone a trash bag and turned the music way up. We were dancing, cleaning and singing. Who knew cleaning up could be this fun?
