The brunette took a bath swiftly scrummaged through all the makeup products and accessories the elf had gave her.

She went back and forth, changing to her dress. The brunette stared at herself in the mirror, admiring the work the kind elf had done.

She wore a crimson dress, which fitted her body perfectly. Silver leaves and flowers adorned the scarlet garment, giving it a finishing touch. She applied some makeup and looked at herself in the mirror again.

'Maybe I work better under pressure?'

She glanced up at the clock on the wall.

5:45

The Gryffindor sighed and rested her head in her hands.
She hid her wand under the dress and speed walked to the gathering party.

She observed the unusually filled corridor and decided to follow where the formally dressed people were heading.
She entered an opening with a sign which read '28th ANNUAL AFTERLIFE GATHERING PARTY' and examined the room.

It was really really huge, like one Hogwarts floor huge. There were tall wide pillars with flower patterns spiralling. Green ribbons were beautifully placed around the walls, flowing down to the ground. In the middle of the tall ceiling above was a nearly Hagrid-sized chandelier sprinkled with diamonds hanging, reflecting small rainbows everywhere. She stared at the different crowds looking sleek and fancy as fuck. Hermione ignored what she looked like and started walking towards the rows of tables with various desserts.

She went to grab a chocolate cupcake as a loud voice started talking.

"Thank you ladies and gents, for coming here with us to celebrate the Annual Afterlife-"

"Bla bla bla blahh," Hermione bit into her cupcake and ignored everything and everyone, feeling extremely bored.

Slow music started playing and everyone started dancing with their partners. Hermione turned back to the table of desserts when she saw a familiar (h/c) went passed her.

She caught sight of the (h/c) walking in a door. The Gryffindor felt curious and went to the door.

She peered her head out and saw the Slytherin on a wide porch, staring at the stars and clouds up ahead. Her back facing the the Gryffindor. The brunette started to speak up.

"What are you doing here alone?"

The Slytherin didn't flinch, as if she knew she was there too.

"I didn't feel like beings in there"

The Gryffindor furrowed her eyebrows.

"So you're not even going to dance?"

She shook her head, still staring at the sky. Hermione stepped closer to the Slytherin.

~

Hermione glanced from behind Krum's shoulder, seeing a glimpse of the (h/c) walking out the gates of the Great Hall.

'I'll be at the bathroom for a while"

She left to go out the gates as Krum nodded his head.

She followed the Slytherin all the way up to the Astronomy Tower. She stopped in front of the window, staring at the dark sky.

'What are you doing here alone?'

'I didn't feel like being in there'

She kept staring, her back still facing the brunette.

"So you're not even going to dance?"

She shook her head, now looking at the floor.

"Why do you even care? Its not like you're the one I'm dancing with'

The Slytherin stared at the Gryffindor leaving to go back to Krum before looking back at the stars.

~

She shook her head again, head lowering to the marble floor.

"Why do you even care? It's not like you're the one I'm dancing with'

The Slytherin sighed as she looked back up to the night sky, admiring the cold peaceful atmosphere.

"What if I am"

The (h/c) turned to look at the Gryffindor. A slow song started to play as the Slytherin smirked and stretched out her hand.

"Alright then"
