Who is he?
________________________________

I observe a lot. Doesn't matter what situation it is, the first thing that I do is that I observe.

For example a few days ago I was on my way to meet my friends from one camp to have a sleepover.

While I was waiting for the metro to arrive, I looked around. Well, I would expect more people to travel on Friday evening. I thought to myself as my look wandered around the half-empty metro station.

Like five meters in front of me was standing a young boy, probably seventeen I would say. He had brown, honey-like hair, he was wearing a red hoodie, had earphones in his ears, black backpack on his back, a huge blue suitcase was standing in front of him.

Probably from this description you don't understand why did he get my attention. In all honesty, I don't know either. I guess it wasn't because of his looks, but more because of how he was standing.

He was tall, very tall. He had his back bend almost shaped like S, he was chewing gum, resting his hands and head on... what is it? ... A white stick. That kind of white stick that blind people use. Huh, Is he blind? I asked myself.

He didn't seem blind, he wasn't blind when he was getting into the metro he didn't have to use the stick. I sat opposite him, I didn't say anything, I just observed. Still, it seemed that his eyesight isn't the best, because when he was looking at something on his phone he held it extremely close to his face, I was surprised that he wasn't wearing glasses.

How strong is his eyesight? How does it feel to have vision like him? If he would look at me would he be able to see me clearly, or am I sitting already too far away?

As I was asking these questions in my head, I realized that I have a friend who has a similar problem like him. I'm gonna call her... Cloe... yes, Cloe it is!

Cloe is a very energetic, sporty girl. She is always smiling even when she's carrying a big weight on her shoulders, that no one except her, can't see. Isn't it kinda cliche that the person who can get easily lost in the dark streets of a big city is more orientated in the labyrinth of a brain, than the person whose vision is "perfect" in all ways. I wonder if it works same even for him?

The school where Cloe goes isn't that far away... What if, they know each other? Who is he? He is fascinating. I don't know why, but it's just fascinating! Should I say hi to him?

*DING DONG!* "Palm street. Next stop Clocktower."

Well, too late I must be going now. I guess this is goodbye instead of Hi, maybe we'll see each other again. It was nice thinking about you "Blind" Stranger.
