Ninjago - War with the Oni

Episode 4 - The Rescue

The ninja and Sarah entered the outpost. There were guards patrolling throughout the hallways when Caleb, Lloyd, Kai and Zane took out five of them. They put on their armor so they were in disguises. "Remember, we are here for the First Spinjitzu Master." said Caleb. "Zane, Lloyd you go to the control room and tell us where he is. The rest will keep them distracted and go get him." The ninja nodded and Zane and Lloyd went on a separate way then them.

Kai, Caleb and Sarah went out further into the hall pretending they were guards. "So how are we supposed to keep them distracted?" asked Kai.

Caleb looked at Sarah and smiled at her. "I'm glad you decided to come along." he said to her. Both her and Kai were confused.

"Is it something that one of us isn't going to like." assumed Kai.

"It is something you won't like but first you need to get rid of the disguise." said Caleb. They found a corner where Kai can remove the armor. "Now I need you to hit those two guards and knock them out." Kai looked at where Caleb was pointing and shrugged and did what he was told, knocking the two guards out. "We have an intruder, a Ninja!" yelled Caleb setting off the alarm. He and Sarah chased after Kai to make it look like they were Oni.

Lloyd and Zane woke up from the alarm going off. "Why did Kai have to do that?" complained Lloyd as he and Zane began stumbling through the hall to continue their search. Somehow they found the control room and entered it.

"What are you doing? All Oni are needed to go after the ninja." said an Oni.

"Sorry we thought this was the medical bay." said Lloyd sounding like he was half-awake.

"Why is that? We can handle much tougher things then what you two had." the Oni responded.

"We know, but we need to find it for your sake." said Lloyd. This puzzled the Oni before he could respond, Zane and Lloyd used their powers to knock out all the Oni in the control room before anyone could raise the alarm. "Now let's find him." said Lloyd when they were done, and they got to work in finding the First Spinjitzu Master.

Kai was still being chased, blasting any Oni in front of him. His luck ran out when he hit a deadend and Caleb and Sarah tackled him to capture him. They had him pinned when two other Oni helped them and they started bringing him to Gōmon. They led Kai to a prison cell, inside there was Gōmon and a beaten up old man, the First Spinjitzu Master. "Ah, the Fire Ninja. Welcome, I hope you can give me information Caleb promised me." said Gōmon.

"And why would I do that?" asked Kai.

Gōmon grinned, he looked to the First Spinjitzu Master then said, "You saw what Caleb looked like after you rescued him and your master now. Would you like the same treatment or something else?"

"Caleb we found him, also you need to come here to see something." said Zane in the comm in Caleb's ear.

"You see I've known you ninja don't travel alone which means if there is one, there are more close by." said Gōmon. Caleb blasted all the Oni that weren't them into ice. He and Sarah removed their disguises and helped release the First Spinjitzu Master.

"I didn't come rescue you just so you can risk your life for mine." said the First Spinjitzu Master. Caleb didn't respond as he helped the First Spinjitzu Master out and Kai and Sarah carried him out of the cell and of the outpost.

Caleb glared at Gōmon, he was still frozen but moving his eyes made him look like he was paying attention. "You want to know where they are? They are at your front door." said Caleb and he walked out to find the control room. When he found it he entered and said, "What do I have to see?"

"We found their strategy for their next attack." said Zane as Caleb looked at the plans.

"We could use this to our advantage," said Lloyd.

"Zane, change the plans so that they look like they have the advantage unless we set our traps first. Then take a picture of their new battle plan." instructed Caleb. Zane did what he was told and when they were finished they left the outpost.

When they got back, Caleb told them their new strategy and Zane showed the photo. They got ready for the attack, but when it came, it was completely different. The ninja and the Golden Oni would have to retreat. "What went wrong." said Caleb with frustration.

"They must have suspected it and changed their plans." said the First Spinjitzu Master.

"Gōmon knew I would do something before I left. And change his style to counter my move." said Caleb in realization.

They got back to the Temple of Gold, they were all worn out. "Caleb, if we want to beat him, I suggest you look at war strategies and logs. They might give us some insight." said the First Spinjitzu Master.

"Then I guess that's what I need to do. Come on guys." said Caleb and the rest of the ninja groaned. This is going to take awhile. But little did Caleb know his job will become even harder.
