"My name is Ankento Sun. I have come to kill the Dragon behind the mountain."

The King stared at him for a long time before saying "Do you know how strong he is?"

"I believe I do."

" Kid, 3 people before you came here claiming to kill the dragon. Do you know about them?"

"I don't"

"Spearman was a very promising young man who carried a spear. It weighed 2 tonnes and he carried it like it was weightless. He was the only one who could pick it up. He went to the dragon and...we never heard from him again. He was followed by a middle aged man who called himself "The Lighthouse. He carried a lamp of sorts but he never told us what it did. He just said that it was a very powerful weapon. He also went to the dragon and also did not come back. The third was a very buff man. He called himself Fisherman. He carried a fishing rod. He had incredible power and it showed. He was very boastful and when he thought I was sceptical of this power he showed his power to me. He took me to the window . There was a crane doing construction. He swung his fishing rod at it and it attached to the crane. The crane was now unable to move forward. He then pulled the crane towards him . I thought he will kill the dragon but he too never came back." The King said.

Ankento was looking at him with an expressionless face.

The King continued " I am sure you can guess what happened to them. But that's not all. Everytime the Dragon realised that we were trying to kill him, he increased his tribute.
I don't want to increase the number of my men who are sent to him again."

Ankento's face was strangely calm."I'll kill him." He said.

The King started shaking a little. Just standing in the presence of Ankento was taking a toll on him. The King could sense that he was not a normal man, not even like the worriors that came before. There was a strange air about him. The King could feel that he was very powerful.

"We were all doomed when He came" the king said. Fear and despair evident in his voice. "That dragon......when he settled on the mountain"

"Can you kill it?"the king said.

"Yes"

'Do you swear you will not put my people in further danger?"

The king saw the man in front of him smile. His lips curved in a sinister way. As if he knew something that the king does'nt. Then he said through his smile

"yes"

The King could only belive his words. He was compelled to believe him. Somehow he knew, he would not be disappointed this time.

Ankento was escorted to the guest room where he would stay for the next five days. It was a luxurious room. It reminded him of the hardships the people faced in the city and the luxury some royal's had.

The day of the next tribute came. Ankento was told to disguise himself as a commoner. The people should not know that he was going to kill the Dragon. It will create panic. He was seated on the very last seat of the very last coach. It was almost empty except a couple of people sitting on the opposite side.

The train ride was silent except the sound of wind and wheels moving. As the train neared the mountain, Ankento looked out.

After a while, the train came to a halt. He could now see the Dragon. He was sitting down, only his torso visible. Ankento looked up to see the Dragon's  face but it was not visible . It went up and up and above the clouds. The dragon was indeed as he heard in the stories. Big and Strong. He saw the train drivers step out of the engine. A hand then appeared ,working it's way towards the train.

The dragon was ready to take his tribute. Ankento was ready to kill him.
